Lacking in Being a Daddy :(

I feel the same way about my Daddy. I have a hard time going little without having to worry about if he's going to be a good Daddy. I've talked to him about it. It's gotten a bit better, but I just got to be patient and keep working on the problem with him and hope it all gets better with time. Try talking to your Daddy about it. I hope everything gets better for you and your Daddy.

Have you told him this in a straight forward way? Sometimes is better to put all cards in the table.

Compliment all the things about him like you said here , but express your other needs! I'm sure he'll try his best

speaking as a CG we are not mind readers, if we get things wrong the only way we will klnow is if we get feedback if you feel like he is not doing the right things or not going through with things then talk to him, he might have a reason why or he may not realise there is a problem at all.

I am very new to this life. I only discovered my Daddy side when my little led me to it. My little and I are definitely still working things out. Trust me when I say that as a Daddy, I have a lot of learning to do. So if your Daddy needs to set boundaries and punishments maybe you need to articulate which punishments are appropriate. I have tried to do some of that and am still working on things. I know that I would not want my Little to give up on me, so maybe this is an area where your Daddy needs some clear instruction from you. Best of luck to you both
