Nervous

I've never really talked to anybody about my little space. I thought finding a forum would give me that outlet, but im still to nervous to join the chat or send friend requests. doess anyone know a way to get used to it or at least conversation starters, dont really know what to do at this point.

As someone who used to be a shy little and was too nervous to go into chat myself, my advice is just dive in. Ask all the questions you need to and start to learn and make friends. I know it seems intimidating but it's just the internet. Lots of nice people looking for friends and to learn and grow together.

The chat is intimidating at first, but everyone is so nice and friendly. You just got to jump in. I always start by saying hi and see if I get response. If I see something they're talking about in the chat that's interesting to me I'll comment on it. I'll also ask questions if something confuses me or I can't make sense of something I saw. I'm looking for friends if you want to send me a friend request ☺

To help with the conversation starters.. perhaps add more of your

interests and likes/dislikes to your profile.

 

Doesn't have to be anything specific to dd/lg at this stage, if you feel uncomfortable.

Just give others more of an idea, what you like to talk about..

 

There will be people here into the same things as you

 

Adding more info to your profile, will help to attract people with similar feelings & interests,

who may then send you a friend request.

 

When you do get requests, don't forget to check their profile & posts too.

That will give you an initial idea whether or not, they may be a possible friend.

 

Don't be afraid to decline friend requests from people who don't appeal to you.

You are not obliged to accept anything here.

 

I hope you'll begin feeling more comfortable soon.
