I usually compliment the features they like the most about themselves. Let's say the person loves their shoulders, I'll compliment that. I love boosting their self esteem ^^ and they always blush or feel super happy.

Also I tend to be very clingy , seems to work too!

Literally any kind of genuine compliment buys you atleast a few hours of undivided loving attention. Daddies dont really admit this, but we love compliments and thoughtful kind remarks. I guess its some kind of an inner voice saying its weakness to want to be appreciated or loved visibly and verbally or that we shouldnt ask for such attention (which we dont), but It always drives us crazy and make us want to cuddle for hours!

Try it out, observe your daddy doing a random thing. Say " Daddy, I just realized youre actually really good doing that random thing, Im proud of you" and watch the magic happen. I kid you not, it works. I wouldnt even be surprised if you see tears of happiness (im tearing up just thinking about it ).

Huggybear hit the nail on the head in my opinion. Genuine compliments or even just appreciation go a long, long, way.

 

My Daddy has also told me what makes him happiest and smile the most is when I just let go and let me cute vulnerable side out. He calls me cute and just grins ear to ear and then buries me under kisses. Showing your vulnerable side to your Caregiver is a much compliment in itself as it shows lots of trust in your caregiver and also love for them.
