I love dolls of sorts! This year I got my very first ball jointed doll. I have wanted one for 15 years! She is a LUTS Senior Delf Chloe, I saved up enough money and I bought her and waited five months! When she arrived I had to wait to open her because I was at work.

I kept her sculpt name because I like the name Chloe, it means Spring and she arrived in the spring time! She doesn’t have many clothes yet because clothes in her size are expensive and sometimes hard to find but I’m saving for a few bits here and there.

I’m leaving a link because the image is huge and I forget how to down size the image and I’m only on my iPad. I’m very proud of her!

Next, I want a Smart Doll. I have a wish list of three Smart Dolls in fact! They’re soooo beautiful! None of them have been released yet, Danny Choo likes to tease his fans months in advance to get us amped up. It’s smart business, I guess. Lol!

I also have five American Girl dolls and lots of clothes and a bit of furniture for them but I’ve kind of fallen out of love for them and want to scale my collection down to just one special doll (Kathryn Elisabeth is my forever special dollie friend whom I will never be parted from) so I can concentrate on building up for my ball jointed dolls.

Do you have any dolls? I LOVE dolls and would love to see you dollie friends too!

I'm interested in BJDs too; the problem is that the ones I like are extremely expensive and there is no way I can own one.

I adore that website! And ya, those dolls are waaaaay outside of anything I will ever afford. But they’re gorgeous to look at! It took me a long while to save for Chloe, she’s the limit on what I want to spend on a single doll. Haha

The LUTS Dolls look AMAZING, that Chloe is beautiful.

And definitely closer to an investment I could make at some point.

I love dolls! I still cannot afford a BJD but I am totally going to get one, as well as Pullip from Jun Planning.

I have two Pullips as well! I can’t believe I forgot to mention them. I guess because I don’t play with them, they are just displays because they are so fragile. I have Princess Serenity and Human Luna, they are so pretty and prize possessions! I wish I could afford more of the Sailor Moon Pullips but I’ve heard and seen that the fake pleather stuff used in their uniforms disintegrates after just a little while so that’s a big reason I never bothered saving up, and I can’t sew well enough to make replacement uniforms from better fabrics.

Several Jun Planning Pullips are so pretty, which one do you like best?

A few years ago when I volunteered to help a historical working farm with a fall festival, I was stationed at the corn husk doll table. I learned how to make simple corn husk dolls and then show kids how to make them. My favorite was this boy who wanted his to be an alien and have four arms.

I took my best example one home and now it's on display on my trinket shelf. :)

Just like my friend loves dolls especially reborn dolls, when I knew I couldn't have a baby I seemed to be depressed and it relieved my pain, day by day. For now, it became part of my life...

I don't have any dolls yet, but I really want to get a smart doll, i found Danny Choo's website a couple of years ago, and loved how they looked. There was a doll I wanted to get but didn't have the money, and unfortunately its no longer in stock (T-T) so now I have to find another I like, and save the money to get.
