Guest Posted July 21, 2019 Report Posted July 21, 2019 I wanted to know if there’s anything I could do to help with my anxiety, I’ve been feeling anxious a lot lately and because of that I’m not in the mood to eat or do anything.
Princess ♛ Posted July 21, 2019 Report Posted July 21, 2019 Find someone to talk to in real life, hug a friend/loved one, pet an animal. Watch more romantic movies or comedies but switch off the news or any stressful media that doesn't make you feel good Stay away from social apps and screens in general - especially at night (no electronics in the bedroom), switch off notifications on your phone, unsubscribe from emails, delete any apps that stress you out Try the Marie Kondo method to declutter your life While you're at it, get rid of any people in your life who don't love you back, support you or serve you in some way. You deserve nice people who love you as you are. Meditate, even a little as 5 mins when you wake up Try some magnesium (magnesium citrate or glycinate) Also try some glycine powder in a bit of water Stay away from coffee/caffeinated drinks/soda/sugar and refined carbs but eat your veggies and drink lots of water
Guest LittleSnowiii Posted July 21, 2019 Report Posted July 21, 2019 First thing I would say is identify what makes you anxious. That helps alot. Cause then you work on the problem For coping methods, everytime you feel the anxiety is reaaaaly bad , go outside. Can be just the balcony but get some fresh air. Once you're there, do breathing exercises (you can look up on youtube if you need). Another thing is find hobbies you love! Many times anxiety is triggered by worries or fears, and if your brain is occupied, it helps ^^ Also find a nice support system. Maybe friends, family, even here! Venting about it , and even having people that relate to you, really does help and improve. And finally, if you notice your anxiety is really out of control, then I would recommend talking to a doctor for possible medication or even therapy. Hope I helped a bit <3 and Hope you feel better soon!
