little1grl Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 How common are Daddy Doms who are interested in non-sadomasochistic BDSM? I was poking around, looking at dating sites and they were pretty much empty. Nobody in my area, or hardly anyone, on the sites I looked at. (And by my area- I mean my state).I also looked at DateCGL, but apparently they discriminate against littles and Daddy Doms that want BDSM in their relationship, because they ban anyone who mentions it in their profile. I would not be interested in an online relationship at all, and I can't move because of my job. So does that mean, if I break up with my (non-Daddy Dom) Sir, I won't find anyone who is a Daddy Dom in my area? Daddy Doms seem rarer than Master's, and I didn't think Masters (as in Master/slave) were all that common. 1
xBabydollx Posted July 13, 2019 Report Posted July 13, 2019 (edited) I think it is important to know what BDSM stands for and that it is an acronym for Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, Sadism, and Maschoism. B&D. D&S. S&M. With that in mind, some ppl are interested in some parts, but not others. Some ppl like D/S, while others only like S&M. Some like BDSM as a whole. Some ppl are literally only interested in bondage. So, to answer ur question, yes there are plenty of Daddy Dom's not interested in S&M. A ton really. Ppl who are interested in D/s are pretty rare in the world compared to vanilla ppl. It is possible there aren't many in ur area, but who knows. Online isn't always the best indication because not everybody is online. You can try looking into ur local dungeons and events for a slightly broader scope if u haven't already. Hell, maybe look into a state over. Besides that, it is possible to date like normal (ppl who have Daddy qualities) and slowly introduce them to BDSM. Many ppl have the qualities or persona of a Dom or sub, but doesn't know that the word or lifestyle exist. Maybe you'll get lucky to find someone interested in learning. BDSM is a small pond to fish in, no matter where a person lives, but the pond exists nonetheless. Just may spend quite the time searching. Edited July 13, 2019 by xBabydollx 2
