Problems choosing what to wear? or other "small" decisions

Does anyone else find it difficult to choose what to wear each day? I don't mean difficult because you have so much to choose from. I mean finding it stressful to make the decision.

For example, today I've decided to wear jeans and not a dress. Fine so far. i did that bit ok by myself.

Then i need a t-shirt. Now the problems begin.

There's a stripy one that i really like the colours.

There's another one that says "weekend".

i really really want to wear the "weekend" one. BUT it's NOT the weekend.

I know this shouldn't matter but little me feels it does matter.

I haven't got a Daddy (or anyone) to ask and so i dither and ponder and spend over 20 minutes making the decision.  By now i'm really stressed and whichever one i put on feels wrong.

Am i alone in this? (it doesn't happen every day but it happens often)

i feel ridiculous to be tearful over trying to choose a t-shirt.

It happens with other "small" decisions too, like what to eat for lunch, which tv prog to watch.

I might need to edit this post later to better describe how i feel, but if i give myself time to calm down and edit etc. i'll end up not posting, because i find it difficult to show my vulnerable side in public.

This happens with me sometimes. If you ever need a friend to help you with this I'd even just to talk to I'd be more than happy to help :)

Thanks for being so kind

It just really helps to know i'm not the only one!

I cope with the big decisions more easily than the small ones. It's the "small" ones that can send me into a spin or make me anxious. They don't seem small to me. They seem terribly important. That's the problem with being 3 years old LOL.

I can get like that sometimes, but mostly when I'm going to my friends or to a festival or somewhere I kinda want to show off (not in a bad way, just I want people to think "she's cute" even if nobody says anything.) At home, I just wear the same jeans/jean shorts every day and a different t-shirt or polo shirt and I might only decide based on what I haven't worn in a while or what's not in the hamper. Then I choose socks based on matching colors.

But if I'm trying to be cuter, then it's hard. When I went with my friends to the beach in April, I packed 5 different skirts and shorts when I only needed 1 because I didn't know if I would want pockets, how warm/cold it would be, which was cutest... and I had several shirts too. Fortunately I picked the "anxiety boat" room with my friend and her husband so I got help in the morning (after my friend helped her husband who was also having an issue). Our friends in the other room didn't understand what was taking us so long  .

What to eat for lunch though can be very difficult!!! Especially when I don't feel like anything in the fridge!

And what to buy in the bookshop? Come back and check on me in a few hours. ;)

The few times I've had to go to the grocery store on my own... which brand should I buy??? Let's read the nutrition facts and ingredient labels on every product in the store.

Maybe try picking outfits out ahead of time like for the whole week? Then you can take your time to plan them, and i know having outfits alredy picked out for the next day makes me feel little.

You could write down what you have on strips of paper and pick one out of a bag or box or whatever. Then you don’t have to make the decision and it will be a surprise
