Advice for finding ddlg/kink friendly communities in college?

Hi guys! I am a freshman in college and just moved in on Friday. I'll cut to the chase. I'm SUPER nervous about not being able to find other littles or people into ddlg or bdsm or even just people who are open minded to those interests. Is anyone else in college now and worried about this? And has anyone had luck finding kink-friendly college friends at their schools? I go to a HUUUUGEEEE state school so I know they're here somewhere. I just have to find them.

I second what Tori said!

At my college, there is also a kink-friendly group. You'd be surprised how common they are, I think! Also, I have noticed a trend on campus. I'm an art student, and we have a separate building that houses all the art classes. Everybody, and I mean everybody, in the art programs are extremely open, friendly, and expressive. People openly cosplay daily, no one takes a second glance at furries, and talking about kinks and fetishes is as common as talking about our artwork.

I obviously can't speak for all colleges/communities, but from my personal experience, the more creatively-driven and introverted people are the more open ones who are just as kinky and accepting as us! I'd recommend hanging out around the artsy students even if you're not one yourself, and seeing what happens! :)

Best of luck!

I went to a smaller college. So, I doubt we had a kinky club (that was not centered around sex anyway). But, I am a private person who wouldn't have joined that sort of thing if it did exist, lol. I would also throw out there that, as a freshman in college, remember that you don't have to jump right into a "kink" community. There will be many new and exciting things to do, learn, and see. Take the opportunity to find new likes/interests. ^_^
