Little kaiya Posted June 4, 2019 Report Posted June 4, 2019 If he needs a break to figure himself out then you should be there to support him but you also need to respect his request. You can't cause another person's depression and in the same way you also can't fix it. You need to focus on dealing with your emotions and taking care of yourself. Little kaiya 2
DaddyDom3238 Posted June 4, 2019 Report Posted June 4, 2019 Hi, I am so sorry that you Daddy is going through a hard time, when someone suffers from depression there is nothing that you can do except remind them all the time that you are there for them whenever they need. Whether it is to just hold them as they cry, rub their head as they lay on your chest, or for them to vent and yell about whatever they need to. You need to remember it has nothing to do with you or anything you did, it is something that they are going through because of some unresolved issues that they are having a hard time making sense of. Give your Daddy the support and love that they need when they need it and step away when he says he needs space. It is actually a very good thing that your Daddy recognizes that there are issues they have to deal with!! Often times that is not recognized and someone that is depressed lashes out at those around them. I wish you luck and happiness in the future! 2
