Guest The Phantom Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 (edited) If you've ever mustered up the courage to confess your feelings to someone you've long admired, then I'm proud of you because that takes guts. So it's understandable if you're hurt and disappointed if they don't return your affections. But let me point out something very important: It's NOBODY'S FAULT. Whatever the outcome, it doesn't make you or your person of interest bad people. There's nothing wrong with your feelings and nobody intentionally went out of their way to hurt them. Let me also point out that no matter how many great attributes they have, there is not one person on this earth who is going to be everyone's cup of tea. And that's okay. Please remember that you might have been hurt but you survived and you're going to be alright. Edited June 3, 2019 by The Phantom 5
Maeve Posted June 3, 2019 Report Posted June 3, 2019 I completely agree and I'm reminded of a quote from Dita Von Teese: "you can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches."
