Knitting Stuffies?

I've just started learning how to knit. I can only make scarfs but I know several knit stitch patterns. I was wondering if anyone else here knits? And hopefully someone might know a pattern to make a stuffie? I've tried googling but almost all the patterns I found were for crochet. Or so extremely complicated that the pattern made my head spin!

sorry, i wish I could help. I actually make stuffies but I sew them, I don't knit.

I don't know how to knit, but I thought using a bigger search term might help you out.  I know that with all crafty things the term "easy" doesn't always mean it's actually easy though. Hope you find some cute things to knit!

I do mostly baby clothes (for real babies/children), but some of my friends make toys. 

 

It would be so special to have a stuffy that you've made yourself, what a great idea. I hope you enjoy making it...and put a photo in the gallery for us all to see please!

I've made a baby blanket once. It was so so soft~ I think making baby clothes is awesome! I've look at some clothing patterns and they look too hard for me at the moment. I'll get there though! 

 

Once I figure it out, I'll definitely post pictures!

I like to do needlepoint and embroidery...it just takes a really long time.

So true...I have had that happen...mistakes happen...if they're minor I make minor adjustments but major mistakes can really set a project back.

I can knit and crochet a little bit. I used to see and made lots of my own clothes. I can do counted cross stitch too.

I have so many projects that have almost finished for years.

Maybe we can all do a project at the same time!

There is a website called Ravelry that is basically like a really nice knitting/crochet forum. It has a huge database of patterns of varying difficulties!

I can knit and crochet! I've never made a stuffie before, most of the time scarves, blankets and wrist warmers. I'm better at crochet then at knitting. I'm trying to knit my own pastel purple socks at the moment! This is my blankie I'm currently working! It's called a log cabin pattern, I think? My grandma showed me how to do it. Lots of weaving ends in. ^^
