MommyinTraining Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 Hi all! I'm meeting my little one for the first time in about 6 days. I'm wanting to make him a little folder full of fun activities. I've already got big crayons and have a few coloring pages ready to print. I also have some tattoo markers that I'm gonna bring (and some cards for when he's not in littlespace). Any suggestions on what else I could put together for him would be appreciated.
hauntedbabydoll Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 Maybe a new stuffy or a yummy snack? :3 1
Guest DollyGirly Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 A book to read to little him, cute bandaids (just in case of a booboo), idk his little age but a little stuffy that rattles is nice, a bottle or sippy cup, baby powder if he wears diapers or not....it can still be sweet, bubble bath if he likes bubble baths, baby lotion, candy for a special treat if he likes candy, a bath toy for bath time. Just some suggestions for you. 1
shadowrider Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 Depending on his little age and dietary restrictions the following are some ideas. A laptop and popcorn or other snacks for movie time. If you are staying with him or at a hotel that has a full kitchen in the room you can get the stuff to make and decorate cookies. If not you can make mug cakes in the microwave. Extra sheets to make pillow forts. Board games. I also like your idea of non little space things like cards. Since it is your first meeting you will want some adult time to really get to know each other in person. Good luck and have fun. 1
Guest softdani Posted May 27, 2019 Report Posted May 27, 2019 Depending on his little age, you could also buy him some activity books to complete and big him might like crossword puzzles or the like. I agree with the above posters about a stuffie, you can never have enough of those, and it'll be so nice to have something from your caregiver to take home. Snacks are good too, but some littles are fussy eaters. If you can manage to find one, I would get a cute backpack with his favorite cartoon character or animal to put it all in so he can have a little kit you put together special for him. 1
Guest QueenJellybean Posted May 27, 2019 Report Posted May 27, 2019 this is such a cute idea! i'd also suggest putting all of the above in a cute backpack! a snack, a drink, some crayons + coloring/activity pages (those activity packs at the dollar tree are great!), a small book, a small stuffed animal, a bouncy ball/fidget toy are all great ideas! 2
mallowbite Posted May 27, 2019 Report Posted May 27, 2019 I agree with some kind of fidget toy! I personally love squishes to play around with while I watch movies or study, it also helps so I don't touch things I'm not supposed to while out and about! 1

I was thinking about something like that but it has to be able to fit in my carry-on suitcase so we'll see if I can find one small enough. I will probably give him one of my stuffies, lord knows I have plenty of them haha
Guest softdani Posted May 27, 2019 Report Posted May 27, 2019 Blech, travelling can make that more difficult. Maybe you can roll it all up and put it together when you get there? You might be able to look up some packing videos, you never know! Either way, I'm sure he'll love whatever you have for him. Bonus if the stuffie has your perfume on it.<3

We're meeting at the airport so I could try to put together before I land or at the hotel, make him close his eyes haha. I'll think of something!
MysticSand Posted May 27, 2019 Report Posted May 27, 2019 (edited) Some kind of craft to do/put together! I think it'd be really cool if you could create something together that you/him could bring home and hang on the wall as a token! Drawing a picture together is always a low-supply needed way to do something jointly. Target usually has the $1 section that has neato simple and easy crafts. Michaels does sometimes too. Also hit up $1 stores! There's always cool things there that I wouldn't think of. ^-^ Edited May 27, 2019 by MysticSand
SharkPrince Posted May 27, 2019 Report Posted May 27, 2019 Something that my partner does really well is mashes things that I like when I'm little and when I'm big. So big me loves cars and that and little me loves winnie the pooh so when i visited her last she got me these And I find that it's a really good gateway into little space because one second im just playing with cars and next im a baby. So maybe something like that for him?
