Starting a blog, any tips? :)

I've decided I want to start a blog online, focused around me as a little and my transtion from male to female. It's meant to act as a form of motivation for myself to keep going, by having a place to give updates every so often and potentionally get in contact with other great bloggers as well!

 

Now, I've tried Tumblr in the past and I am not too fond of their currently rules. I like to be able to talk about even more intimate stuff, be it through visual aids or just writing. In some respects it also feels a bit too public, at least at the moment. Does anyone have any good suggestions for a website I could use?

 

Also, when it comes to recorded videos of me, will a normal webcam be enough or should I use an actual camera? Does it matter?

 

Any other general tips and tricks you could share to make it a bit easier to get it started?

SAME! It sucks for blogging in my opinion lol.

I've noticed some of our members use Wattpad to blog, which is fairly unique. Have you tried wordpress? I've had quite a few blogging tries and just gave up because I didn't like the layout lol.

Are you going to be vlogging aswell? Because YouTube!  A normal webcam should be enough. I don't think it matters.

I don't have any tips ^.^ but if I were to make a blog or something, I would probably do it here. Maybe add to the general discussion, or creative corner, call it "Stella's Blog" and keep it updated. This place is my home and where I feel safe though >.<

I considered Youtube, but I don't want to just do vlogging so for now I need a better place for it! Since I do want to do recorded stuff I don't feel super comfortable here, but I just might do that if I stick to just writing.
