pacikiss Posted May 7, 2019 Report Posted May 7, 2019 personally, for me it's melanie martinez, marina and the diamonds, and nicole dollanganger! i'm a toddler in littlespace, so i like more sassy/princess music. lullabies/music box melodies just make me very bored i suppose?
Sean Posted May 7, 2019 Report Posted May 7, 2019 music I listened to in the 70's helps take me back there
zanderandspike Posted May 7, 2019 Report Posted May 7, 2019 oh see it's the reverse for me, I like piano music from movies(mostly disney lol) if the song has an nsfw theme it's very off putting for me(in little space at least)
Angel24 Posted May 7, 2019 Report Posted May 7, 2019 Songs from Barbie movies and “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana usually do it for me:) that and lullaby versions of songs.
Little.Pet.Kate Posted May 7, 2019 Report Posted May 7, 2019 any music will do it for me.. especially melanie and others.. its usually alternative pop stuff that make it happen but sometimes its disney or even metal
Guest shedreamsinpink Posted May 8, 2019 Report Posted May 8, 2019 Disney music makes me feel tiny, and so does jazz, and classical music!
SamL Posted May 8, 2019 Report Posted May 8, 2019 A some of you know, I have DID and so it is not so much the music that "makes me feel little" but, as my six year old alter calls it, "She switch slaps me". and I cease to be present. Anywho, anything repetitive that would drive any adult insane in moments. Think Hamster Dance, This is the Song that Never Ends, or Mah-na-mah-nah. Other favorites that can cause me to be punted out of consciousness are Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid or Princess Poppy singing Get Back Up Again.
LittleTeacup Posted May 9, 2019 Report Posted May 9, 2019 Old fashioned songs like Polly-wolly-doodle, Daisy Bell (A Bicycle Built For Two), Home On The Range, Puff The Magic Dragon (although this one sometimes makes me cry), Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean, etc Tom Chapin's songs Harry Belafonte's songs Peter, Paul, and Mary songs And a bunch of other stuff too. 1-Can it be sung a cappella or minor acoustic accompaniment? 2-Can I sing it in a child voice (in contrast to requiring a more operatic sound or my adult soprano voice)? 3-Is the subject matter child appropriate?
