Harry Potter littles role play

The role play is basically just like writing a story but we would all only play our own characters. We post around 3 lines to 6 paragraphs per post (it is okay to start witg a longer post to get into character and introducing yourself - if you want to).

 

I love to really develop my character, I hope you enjoy it too! <3

 

Hogwarts Castle is a wondrous, magical building with many towers and turrets. It is home to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Seven stories tall is utterly massive for the main building of a castle. It's held together by magic, so the towers literally defy gravity and the various types of construction fit together in impossible ways.

 

If Muggles approach the castle, all they will see is a mouldering ruin with a sign warning them to keep out, that it's unsafe. Hogwarts is built in a forested area, directly next to a fairly large lake, in the highlands of Scotland. The main entrance to Hogwarts is a set of huge oak doors which face more or less toward the west.

 

Welcome in to the big hall. Quick! The ceremony is about to start.

 

You enter a big hall, bursting of wonder and magic. Floating candles in the air. Long tables full of food and drinks, around the tables a noisy chatter from the wizards and witches in their school uniforms. They turn their heads to meet the new crowd of wizards and witches.

 

A voice fill the aula. Dumbledore ask for silence.

 

"Oh you may not think I'm pretty, but don't judge on what you see, I'll eat myself if you can find a smarter hat than me." Says the sorting hat as the ceremony starts.

 

The Sorting Hat is a sentient Hogwarts artefact which magically determines to which of the four school Houses each new student is to be assigned. These four Houses are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

 

The Sorting Hat originally belonged to Godric Gryffindor, one of the founders of Hogwarts.

I looked around in amazement. It was more than I could ever had imagined. Sooo much magic! The sorting hat looked icky and all the wizards and witches kind of scary. But, everything was so beautiful and I couldn't wait to start using magic. A silent squeak of excitement slipped out of me as the hat shouted out the names of the four houses, the line got shorter. Soon it would be my turn!
