Whenever I see animals or something cute!

I try really hard to stay calm but it never works out :( I end up yelling DOGGIE or KITTY, while grabbing whoever I’m with. And they kind of just say “Yes yes I see”

And I’m tall so it’s even more awkward LOL

When I see certain toys, especially ones that have the little “Try Me” thing I end up playing in the toy aisle. I reallllly love those fake swords/axes, I’m so good at it.

Whenever I walk past Build a Bear or see stuffies I get really excited too. Sometimes I end up being a mess in public. :(((

But usually it’s ok and people don’t notice, they just think I’m really passionate lol

Omg!  lol, I do the same thing. I feel you.   Especially if something is really cute, I have the biggest most ridiculous freak-out (and often smack a friend and make sure they see it too :D ) - 99% of the time it's a cute animal, but stuffies and other ridiculously cute things get me, too.  My friends make fun of my little voice, haha!  They have no idea.   :)

Although ... I can be kind of a brat though, admittedly.  I try to set off all the 'try me' buttons and then run away from the aisle.  B)

I was at my dad's house and fell into counting out loud with the microwave in front of his girlfriend. I made myself stop, but she commented on it and I was super embarrassed.

Heheh this happened today and it was no big deal at all. I was at work and I work as a hostess at the moment. I was talking to a co worker about movies and Dungeons and Dragons and so many things and I got super excited when we were talking about movies and I said I still need to each Christopher Robin, and that I love Winnie the Pooh and that I’ll watch it with my Eeyore and Pooh bear stuffed animals (I wasn’t too little that I called them stuffies like I usually do). And then we were talking about puppies and I got so excited and said that I want to cuddle all the puppies and he made me giggle and laugh a lot and when I was told I could leave I said bye bye.

Being little is just my personality and most just think I’m kinda quirky. I won most dorky at work heheh.

Every time I see a dog or cat...I kinda yell puppy/kitty....but if it's a service animalI quietly say puppy...cause it's a good boy/girl doin their jobs.

Other times I'm with my non little friend...she's knows I'm a little. I always of we can go to the toy section of a store....one time we got lunch at a McDonald's and I got excited because of the hello Kitty and Pokemon toys....she then gave $5 to go buy a Happy meal....just cause I got excited over the toy.she ate all the nuggets. I would say fair trade

I had my first tantrum in public with my Daddy at the grocery store. I saw this SUPER CUTE stuffed kitty keychain, it is pink and it is wearing a crown.. in the clearance bin from the Halloween stuff.

And I picked it up and I was like "Look!!!" He just rolled his eyes and told me to put it back, so I put it back.. and then I was all pouty and he was like "What's wrong now?" and I said "I didn't get to have the kitty." & He kept telling me that I don't neeed it, and he was about to buy me a toaster (I haven't had a toaster in more than two years, lol) and won't that make me happy?

I said nothing will make me happy but the kitty. :(

Then he got really mad, and walked by himself all the way back where the kitty was, and got it for me. I was happy after that.

But I think we got some looks from the people in line behind us when I lit up over a tiny kitty keychain.

The most recent one was at work. The place was dusty and suddenly I'm like "I have a soft toy that is dustball. Her name is Dusty. I wrapped her in a blanlet so she can sleep". My coworker: "okay....."

This happens to me all the time. Being little is just part of my personality and until recently I didn't know it was being little. I learned in elementary school what not to do in front of others to avoid getting teased, but as I got older especially college age on I started letting more of it out again. But here's some examples

Three years ago I had a job working at a National Recreation Area campsite, and of course I had to walk all over the place outside between buildings and such. It was such a nice sunny day, I was happy, no one was around, and I skipped down a little hill with my arms outstretched pretending to fly - but when I got to the bottom I realized two middle aged people had seen me. I was embarrassed, but they made it better by saying they were teachers and seeing me reminded them that fairies do exist. :)

I was on a family vacation once and I stopped suddenly on a busy sidewalk to rescue a ladybug at risk of being stepped on. My mom was so mad because I embarrassed her though :(

Another family vacation, this time at the airport I was assigned to the seat where you will be expected to help in emergencies and the airport staff had to ask if I was ok with this and even though usually I just say yeah yeah this time I had a moment and said "no". My parents were super angry and tried to argue with the airport staff that I didn't know what I was talking about and told me I shouldn't have said that so I felt really bad, but it worked out fine in the end. I just got moved to another seat and they moved my brother too.

In high school our senior class trip was to Disney World and so I was there with my friends and in Epcot I got very upset I couldn't choose something to buy in one of the gift shops and started to cry while in a long line for a ride. One of my friends took me out of the line and we went to find me a souvenir. It took a while, but I found something and then my friend and I went back to the ride and got in the "single rider" line because it was shorter. And by a miracle, we got to the front literally at the same time the rest of our friends got to the front in their line, and we all got to ride together anyway.  :D

I think I was kinda little a lot that Disney World trip. I also at one point had too much of socializing and just started crying in the middle of the walkway. A friend gave me a piggyback ride for a while and I could lean against her back with my eyes closed and rested. It was nice.

If I get frustrated when shopping by myself (I have trouble making decisions) I stomp my feet a little and make a growly sound under my breath. I might also curl my hands into fists.

Honestly, the older I get I realize it's no one's business how I behave in public as long as I'm not harming anything or making a scene, and most times I get caught doing something little in public it works out fine anyway. Thinking about this now, most of the negative reactions have come from my parents rather than other people and the more unapologetic I am the more they accept it.
