NiaEast Posted March 18, 2019 Report Posted March 18, 2019 Hi there! Strange question, maybe, I’ve asked a couple other groups what it means to be heartcore bonded to a Dominant, but no one seems to know. I’ve been in the lifestyle for a few years(taught pretty old school traditional) and I have never heard this before. It surprised me. A little backstory to help clarify? I’m not sure if it is a CGL reference, it could also be for Masters to slaves or Dominants to the more traditional subs. The head of my bdsm community is a Mistress and one of her slaves, also with one of her subs (who is my best friend), are heartcore bonded. It was mentioned today when one of our other members had to be asked to leave due to mistreating other members, and then someone else told me at the same time that she wanted her Daddy to heartcore bond her to him. He is a Dom in the traditional Dom/Master sense. I haven’t asked them because I feel silly, as if I should know what this is and I’m trying to avoid it. ;___;
Guest Aetherr Posted March 18, 2019 Report Posted March 18, 2019 never feel silly for wanting to know, curiosity is what makes humans special
LittleTeacup Posted March 18, 2019 Report Posted March 18, 2019 I've never heard of the term. Maybe it's a phrase your local bdsm community came up with and uses but it's unique to them? Don't feel silly for not knowing. How does anyone else know what it means? I'm sure they all had to ask at some point. Why don't you ask your best friend?

I’m one of the more tenured members, with the group and in bdsm in general, just makes me feel a little silly having to ask something that everyone seems to know :c

They may have appropriated the word from music but yeah, it's being used however they want to use it. If I had to guess, they're waiting for someone to ask so they can be smarter than them.

Guest Aetherr Posted March 18, 2019 Report Posted March 18, 2019 Short bus special...or just special? sometimes... i think a bit of both. 1
Guest Revurx Posted March 18, 2019 Report Posted March 18, 2019 I've never heard it. The only thing I can think of is how the word heartcore is defined on Urban Dic. Based on that my best guess is it means an emotionally hardcore bond. Completely attached and 100% committed. 2

TBH I thought it was a typo or something and it was meant to say hardcore, so also have to agree with this sentiment.
