lilshybi Posted March 17, 2019 Report Posted March 17, 2019 So me and my SO are newly together and I'm a switch but very rarely am I a dom. My SO is also a switch but is more inclined to a bit of both. When I was talking to him tonight he was in littlespace and I honestly had no clue. The idea of failing him petrifies me but I'm scared to be a mommy at the same time. Any suggestions that could help would be greatly appreciated ^-^
MysticSand Posted March 17, 2019 Report Posted March 17, 2019 Communication communication communication! Ask what works best for him and what he expects/prefers from you. And vice versa. I think the role of CG is to nurture and guide. Somehow using the word "dom" to describe a CG is daunting to me; try not to think of titles and such, but rather what you're able to offer each other depending on where/what you're on about. In regards to failing, it's human to err. And that's how relationships and bonds become stronger. Affection grows when you see that the other person is genuinely taking in feedback provided by you and changing small habits or behaviors to make themselves better as a person and partner. I hope this helps in some small measure! ^^ 1
zanderandspike Posted March 18, 2019 Report Posted March 18, 2019 Oh, man this is kinda a same for me, but sence I started being a mommy I'm really loving it more and more lol Comunication is so important, and this site is great for ideas if your little isn't sure what all they want I think the fist ting to do if your little slips unexpectiedly(or at least what I do) is: 1) food/water 2) fun stuffs, aka blanket, pacifier, cat ears, sippy cup, stuffies, etc 3) activity, coloring, watching something together, going on a walk, etc basicly just make them safe and happy hope this helps :-) 1
