Anyone ever make gifts to send with caregivers in the military?

You could put cute pictures of you in there which will be nice for him to look at when he misses you or even get one framed (if you have a pic of the two of you then use that one), you can write a few love notes and put random dates on there so that he can only open them on those dates, this would be nice especially if he’s away for long periods of time. Give him something of yours to keep on him like a charm or bracelet or something that’s your fave that he can keep with him all the time. Write a list of your fave moments with him that make you feel happy so that he can read through those when he’s away from you (it would probably put a Smile on his face to know what moments are your favorite). Write a list of all the things you love about him, it makes the other person feel special and cherished. You could do a thingy where you tell him all the things you’re excited for when he comes back home permanently. It would give him hope and help him get through any difficult times he’s going through. I think writing daddy in a code is a really cute idea. If you were going to make up your own code it could be like each letter was represented by a flower, star and heart or something. There’s only three letters in daddy so that would be cute to draw on the outside of the box with the key to the code inside the box. Hope it goes well!!

I would keep it small, light, and weatherproof. That way under the worst scenario it could be kept with him. Also, make sure it isn't shiny.

Does your Daddy like flowers? You can make coffee filter roses without breaking a budget. I made my Daddy some for Valentine's Day because he's always giving me flowers. I highly recommend this one. My roses were dipped in day-old coffee (the kind my Daddy likes) to add a light smell that will last for awhile. Or you can spritz it with your favorite scent.

Something that my Daddy and I do is we write little notes to each other and stuff a bunch of them in empty Altoid's tins. It's an easy emotional boost that keeps us going and pretty discreet if you want to write something NSFW.
