Littlechef Posted January 28, 2019 Report Posted January 28, 2019 Ok so I'm one of those people who looks several years younger than I really am and while it does help get into headspace it because people treat me younger it drives me nuts outside of littlespace and can drive me out of headspace . Does anyone else have this probleml? 1
Guest Posted January 28, 2019 Report Posted January 28, 2019 I do! I look A LOT younger than what I am, and as you said at times it's nice but others not soo much. Uhhh .. Make up helps a little?? And later everyone will look 60 and we'll only look 30?? XD My only tip and positive note to give. Lol 1
Guest MoominPoppa Posted January 28, 2019 Report Posted January 28, 2019 Trust me...it may be annoying now but it is a gift that only increases in value as you get older!
Batbrat Posted January 28, 2019 Report Posted January 28, 2019 YES!!! If I don't have my makeup on, I still get asked what middle school I go to and if I'm old enough to be driving, all while I'm graduating college in a couple months, haha
LittleCelticLass Posted January 28, 2019 Report Posted January 28, 2019 I definitely look younger than I am, all the women in my family do. It's a blessing, and a curse.
babygirl'xo Posted January 28, 2019 Report Posted January 28, 2019 I get it it all the time too! It used to be frustrating but I just embrace it now! People buy all sorts of products and things to be looking younger, we have already been blessed!
LittleTeacup Posted January 28, 2019 Report Posted January 28, 2019 I also look younger. It's never been such an issue though, except one time in college somebody thought I was one of the middle schoolers I was mentoring. Once they looked closer at me they realized I was not THAT young Right now in my late 20s most people generally assume I'm in my early 20s. Which is really good because I'm having trouble making enough money to move out of my parents' house and it's nice when people just think I'm fresh out of college instead of questioning me and being rude.
Quirkygrl16 Posted January 29, 2019 Report Posted January 29, 2019 I look much younger than i am. I have gotten used to it now..i used to hate it when i was younger. Now im 28 and love it hehe
q.t.pie Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 I've learned how to do my makeup so that I end up looking closer to my age, but I still look super young :/ I graduated from college almost two years ago, and recently I got mistaken for a freshman in high school It stinks because people don't take me seriously, but I do like being able to order off the kids menu...
Brokenbouncy Posted March 12, 2019 Report Posted March 12, 2019 I would have to say it was annoying like 10 years ago haha not so much anymore. My first job was a substitute teacher and i got mistaken by a student and a teacher yelled at me to get out of the classroom because students are not allowed to be there before school started...yea Now i think is nice because people treat me little even though I'm 30 2
florchusagi Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 I really understand youuu! I'm almost 29 and people always says I look 19 or 20 but when I really got angry was when I went to the doctor and the secretary wanted to call the pediatrician bc she thought I was underage ??????????????????????? And I don't wear any makeup soooo. My boy said it's bc I'm a little fun sized, always climbing the tables and furniture to grab things uggghh. But weeell, when everyone looks 50, I will look younger and I love that. 1
Guest Fleur-Angelique Posted March 22, 2019 Report Posted March 22, 2019 Hehe my guess is it may be annoying now but 'you'll love it later on. I look waay older than i am and when i was 17 and looked 28 it was great because i could buy cigarettes and alcohol for my friends. Now? Now its not fun. Its not fun to be 25 and look like you're late 30s. Heck, TWICE people thought i was the mother of my 3 years younger sister. So... Hang in there. This is a things thats just going to get sweeter with age! <3
Guest San Posted March 24, 2019 Report Posted March 24, 2019 I also apparently look a lot younger than I am. Being 5”2 doesn’t help either. It’s super annoying because in my career there are hardly any women that do my role and most of the contracts go to men who just tend to think I have no idea what I’m talking about because I look young and I’m small-ish
Lollipox Posted March 24, 2019 Report Posted March 24, 2019 I’ve looked younger since my late teens. I actually prefer people treating me like a n00b (younger) when I start at new workplaces and situations like that, because I’m timid and shy and people are nicer. I enjoy the ambiguity of my actual age vs. how people perceive me on account of appearance and behaviour. I think not getting enough sunlight has helped postpone the aging process. *hisses from the shadows*
Teawave Posted July 16, 2019 Report Posted July 16, 2019 I'm 30 I look 20ish which is so much fun when they find out but not by me telling them but by me humiliating them since they clearly asked for it.
Breakingrules Posted July 16, 2019 Report Posted July 16, 2019 Yesssss. I'm almost 20. When im in "little space" I adore it. Buying stuffies, games and (pre)teen clothing is easy because they think I'm 14 but in "big space" I hate it. People won't take me serious and they talk different to me. On the other side, they underestimate me and I like to proof them wrong. My Daddy is turning 30 next month, he looks a bit older because of his beard and idk, he's a charming old man haha. People assume I'm his daughter (little do they know) sometimes and we don't care to explain them I'm not :')
Lil Kittykat Posted July 19, 2019 Report Posted July 19, 2019 I do. I am told all the time that I look 16. I am actually 34. I love looking younger, I find it to be a complement. Still, there are times out of little space I would prefer people to take me a bit more seriously when I talk. I have a voice that I can't change, and it too sounds a lot younger. My nurses at work always said it was a double bladed sword that I have to live with. Makes being a doctor difficult.
Dolliekisses Posted July 19, 2019 Report Posted July 19, 2019 No one has ever believed my age, ever. When I was a teenager I was confused for a much younger child. When I reached my 20s I was regularly told I needed an adult to see R rated movies! Now I’m almost 40 and coworkers don’t believe me until I pull out my license to prove my age. It’s hilarious and frustrating and flattering all at once! The only time it bothers me is when people treat me differently or badly for it. That’s rare nowadays but when I was younger it was constant and I developed a complex about it. Ah well.
