My favorite band's new album came out today!!!

The reason why I'm happy today is because I was awarded an University prize for academic achievement. I'm over the moon!

I had to call microsoft tech support today.  It was the most gratifying tech support call I've ever made.

 

My laptop was a personal gift.  I was told that he had it loaded with everything he could think of.  So, something wasn't working today and I called tech support.  The guy who answered became convinced pretty early on that my computer just didn't have the ability to do what I wanted it to do.  Here's the fun part of the conversation:

 

Me: Well like I said, the guy who gifted it to me told me it was loaded with everything you could put on a computer.  

Techie: This person, he is old yes?  

Me: What's old?

Techie: Maybe over 50?

Me: Yes, he is older than 50.

Techie: A lot of times, the older people, they do not understand computers very well.  Perhaps they think they put everything in but did not.

Me: Well, he has a background in computers.

Techie: So many things change though.  Even for us in tech support, very hard to keep up.

Me: This computer was a gift to me from Bill Gates.

 

<long pause followed by a longer pause>

 

Techie: Let us go to MENU...

And the special artbook with cds I ordered finally came today!!!!! It's so beautiful                     

It totally made my day after my earlier insurance struggles. Came just at the perfect time.

i helped my mom today by doin a big person thing an helpin with the laundry an taking out the trash!! i also put up the dog food in the containers an the cat food too!! did lotsa big person stuff today an 'm all tired now..but still happy!

i'm happy today because i'm healing! 

after a really long road to recovery from an emergency surgery, i drove my car for the first time to the library today + fixed my own breakfast!

 

it's baby steps, but it's something to celebrate.

Not today, but Thursday I met another Little from here in real life for the first time!

 

We had lunch together and drew pictures!

Today I volunteered at a local nature preserve and built nest boxes for birds and planted new trees It was also a nice day.

 

Tomorrow I have to take my parents to the airport really early (not quite so fun) but then they're on vacation for a few weeks and I have the house to myself! Yay!

This was last week when I went to the beach with my friends:

 

We were getting ready to check out of the hotel in the morning and I was looking for a water fountain to fill up my water bottle. I couldn't find one and was hovering around the ice machine and then this older woman employee came by and asked what I was looking for. I told her I needed plain water to fill my water bottle and at first she offered to get me a plastic bottled water. I was shy but told her I'd really rather just have tap. So she took my bottle and went into the employee only area and I saw her filling it up in the sink there. Then when she came back she said "here you go Baby".  And then 10 minutes later when my friends and I were leaving I saw her cleaning something and I waved and said thank you again and she said "have a safe trip Baby". I had cute pigtails and was feeling smol so this made me happy.  I have no clue if that's just how she addresses younger women or if she sensed my littleness or what but I liked it.

i might be getting pizza for dinner!! even tho its simple, it still makes me rlly happy!

I am happy because it is weekend and I am off the whole weekend for the first time in months! Time to snooze in and do whatever I want

I went for a walk today around my neighborhood and to the nearby elementary school. While there, I saw lots of little Spring Beauty flowers (and picked a couple for my parents), two garter snakes, flowers on the apple trees, flowers on the cherry trees, lots of violets, and some other interesting plants. I heard birds making their noises.

 

I ate some garlic mustard leaves too.

 

And I tried to play on the monkey bars on the playground! I made it to three before I dropped. I need better upper arm strength.

 

Also I picked up some trash, pulled a lost kickball out of the muddy weeds, and lifted a bent-over small tree away from the big branch that had fallen on it.

I passed a big assignment that I finished last minute. I know it wasn't my best work, I'm just happy that what I did turn in was still good enough.

I'm happy because I got to have a play date on Friday with an egg hunt and then I got to hunt for chocolate bunnies today. All the chocolate!!

My boyfriend and I had a serious talk last night, and me being a little came up. When I told him I was a little, he asked what he could do when I go into little space **happy squeals**.  I haven't asked him if he could be my DD yet, but I'm really excited he seemed interested in it.
