littlewildmermaid Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 I followed you on your tumblr I'm cocobijoulala and cottoncandylolli. Honestly not sure what you would want to know in the email. Do you have a questionnaire or anything? Have a great day!
Vixen On Wheels Posted April 4, 2015 Author Report Posted April 4, 2015 Thanks for following me on Tumblr! Just send me the email, & I'll share what I've been telling everyone else to do. It's very open-ended, but it'll give you more direction.
littlewildmermaid Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 will do. Thank you kindly. EDIT: sent
Guest ADudeHasNoName Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 @littlewildmermaid wow, I didn't think I'd see another member with EDS here! How high do you rate on the beighton scale? Vixen, I'd love to chat too. I have POTS, Vasovagal Syncope, IST, complex pain syndrome and suspected connective tissue disorder and have told a therapist about my little side, who loves the idea. Would be happy to speak anonymously about this.
littlewildmermaid Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Oh my gosh no way! That is kind of trips DudeWhere'sMyName! I'm only at 6 on the Beighton score and shoulders and hips dislocate as well.
Guest ADudeHasNoName Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Well thing is, my genetic doctor is convinced I have it, even with a beighton scale of 0 and just slightly stretchy skin. He's one of the few people on the east coast that can accurately diagnose EDS...but the blood test showed no generic markers for type 2 and 3...so we don't know what's going on. Do you have POTS as well? Most of my pots friends have EDS, which also keeps them in wheelchairs. I'm not in one yet, but I'm having great difficulty just walking up a flight of stairs.
Vixen On Wheels Posted April 5, 2015 Author Report Posted April 5, 2015 I'll be checking for your email in a bit, LittleWild! Thank you!
Vixen On Wheels Posted April 5, 2015 Author Report Posted April 5, 2015 And DudeWheresMyName, please email me with your story! I'd love to share it. And you can definitely remain anonymous - that's just fine.
DaddyJsPrincess Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 Are you interested in gathering experiences from Daddy Doms also? I have dyslexia and my Daddy has OCD and we both have PTSD.
Caritas Posted April 5, 2015 Report Posted April 5, 2015 It seems you have a very broad definition of "Disabled". I have a fair few things wrong - Major Depressive Disorder (diagnosed 8 years ago and still medicated), Hashomoto's Thyroiditis (lifelong auto immune disease where the body attacks the thyroid) and now early osteoarthritis in my knees at the tender age of 31. With the possible exception of a bad knee day I don't consider myself disabled. The medication I take controls the depression for the majority of the time (although I really know when it stops working!) and the thyroid medication is just a small dose of synthetic thyroid hormones. Apart from occasionally having to wear a knee brace and taking several daily pills (including pain killers) none of my conditions really affect my day to day life. The only thing I've perhaps noticed is over the past year since my knee began playing up my comfortable walking speed has decreased a little.
Vixen On Wheels Posted April 6, 2015 Author Report Posted April 6, 2015 Hi DaddyJs - Yes, Daddy Doms are more than welcomed to share! I've had a couple reach out, so definitely share yours and your Daddy's stories with me.
Vixen On Wheels Posted April 6, 2015 Author Report Posted April 6, 2015 Caritas, I allowed the definition of what may be considered "disabled" broad because everyone's experiences are different. Even with folks' who have the same illnesses/conditions, their experiences can vary greatly. For me, though I have a physical disability & uses a wheelchair, my disability doesn't affect my day-to-day life, in negative ways. I do know folks who have the same disability as me, who have mush severe health conditions that are related & unrelated to the disability we share in common. If you feel that your disabilities doesn't hinder you or your abilities in the DD/lg relationship, then that's fine. What I'm looking for are folks who do identify as disabled, and are within the lifestyle who have experienced positive, negative, and neutral realities as a little or Daddy Dom. So far, I've gotten responses from all over, from disabilities not being an issue in building relationships (but they endure health matters), to not allowing their disabilities to affect their love life, and finding partners who respect their abilities. It's all how you see yourself, and your life - as simple as that. 1

I had a feeling that's what you were after As I said, in my case, my health problems - both mental and physical don't impact on my day to day life as more than a minor inconvinience at this time, or on my relationship at all. Good luck getting enough people to make your article ^_~ I'll be interested to read it.
Vixen On Wheels Posted April 6, 2015 Author Report Posted April 6, 2015 Thanks for reaching out. Right now, I have a good many responses for what I want to do, so it's going very well.

HeartsofLove Posted November 11, 2016 Report Posted November 11, 2016 I have Cerebral Palsy and am very interested in blogs pertaining to kink and disabled people
Aaleayha Posted November 11, 2016 Report Posted November 11, 2016 I'm unfortunately very new to everything BDSM. If I had more experience in the field, I would have loved to participated as I have multiple physical disabilites. But I wouldn't mind seeing the finished project. Will you be posting that?
