Do you ever get mistaken for someone else?

Does anyone else routinely get mistaken for somebody else?

 

There is a woman who goes by "London Andrews" online. I have had people think pictures of her were pictures of me...mainly based on her figure. My features are a lot bigger and rounder than hers...and my hair is usually a bit darker. There is also some person in my hometown who must look just like me. I have had people walk up to me and insist I am her. I almost got in a fight with this one guy. He asked me what I was waiting outside a public building for...I told him I was waiting for my boyfriend. (I never call Daddy my 'boyfriend' but this guy didn't need to know my private business.) The guy got mad on behalf of his friend, John. He insisted I was his friend John's girlfriend, he had just seen us together out shopping, and he wanted to know what I was doing waiting there for another guy. People used to come in where I worked and think I was the daughter of some man named "Miguel" too. I never found out this woman's name or saw a picture of her.

now that is strange. And annoying! The nerve of some of these people. But no I hardly get mistaken for anyone but it's weird.

It is really strange. I am surprised I've never seen this other girl around my hometown. I'm flattered by the London Andrews comparison, but I wouldn't want people thinking that was me because she posts a lot of stuff online that I either don't agree with or wouldn't put up in public.

When I worked at Hardee's everyone kept mistaking me for this other guy. Great guy, crappy workplace.

I always get mistaken for George Clooney....

Tch, nice one LBD. XD I'm usually told I've met someone before/been seen around before but its usually pretty vague? Though I think thats just because some people are a little...touched in the brain. At one point this woman who I was helping at my store came back and starting shouting my name at one of my co-workers over and over who was like "OH WINNI IS HERE" only to realise the woman was talking to her. 

 

Mind you my co-worker is shorter than me, has a totally different build, is covered in tattoos, and has BRIGHT AQUA DREADLOCKS, all of which are fab but I do not have any of those things. We're just both fair and wear glasses.

Winni, it seems that people do the oddest things. Where do they get this behavior, who knows?!

Once in middle school, someone called me Emilia and I had no clue what they were going on about. In high school, I met Emilia who looked like she could be my sister! We both had short hair, braces, and similar features. Some people actually thought we were twins but we were a few years apart. I met her mom once and she was shocked lol.

I mentioned that woman "London Andrews." There is also another girl online..she does makeup demos on youtube...she is a lot smaller than me. I wear a size 18 on top and a 14 on the bottom, and this girl looks like she's about a 2 or a 4. She does her eyebrows different, and she has much longer hair..but we have basically the same facial features and the same coloring...almost the same job...and the same first name. Since most of both of our pics/her vids are face only, I think people who see my pic online think I'm her. I must look like a cross between those two women. I am guessing that's where people offline think they know me too....people seeing videos and not remembering where they have seen the person from. I've never been called another name. Though still not sure who Miguel's daughter and John's girlfriend are...maybe I was standing next to them in the store by chance or something.

 

I haven't mistaken anyone for someone else...but I have made the opposite mistake. I've seen someone and haven't been sure if it was the person I thought it was, so I just smiled politely and didn't say anything....and it turned out to be who I thought it was....and they were wondering why I didn't stop to talk.

I will have to check that out....now that I see a better video/photo of that other girl...there is only the tiniest resemblance between us...so now I don't think it's her. I've had photos of London Andrews mistaken for photos of me before...but we're only similar in figure. I guess I look like a cross between her and somebody else.
