Daddys little Baby_Bear Posted January 8, 2019 Report Posted January 8, 2019 My daddy has been very stressed lately and I want to cheer him up but have no idea how. Normally I'd hug him and make him dinner but he lives in a different state so I can't. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? 1

starrykitty Posted January 8, 2019 Report Posted January 8, 2019 Hey baby bear, I think there’s lots of things you can do, It’s not really about relieving his stress but more about putting a smile on his face. I think a good thing to do is like make pictures and stuff, on paint or something like that, of cute stuffs and you can send him those. And write nice messages on the pictures so that every time he looks at them he’ll be reminded of how much you care. Also you can send him letters in this post of your drawings or writing, anything like that that he can keep. Make cute videos of yourself and send him those so he can look at them when you’re not around. Set up like a movie date so you can watch his fave movies/programmes together. And also just let him know that you’re there and you’re around if he needs you or your help with anything. It’s really the little things that make the most difference (like you ) hope this helps 2 1
DisForDaddyDom Posted January 8, 2019 Report Posted January 8, 2019 One of the BIGGEST things that cheered me up in my LDR a while back was when we would do video calls. She would show/tell me some of the things she did throughout the day like a drawing she did or tell a story about what she was daydreaming about Alot of her stories were about her stuffies. Most notably she would go on adventures through scary forests/mystical settings and her favorite stuffie i sent her would come to save the day and make her feel safe and calm. But by far the biggest thing that would cheer me up was when i could read her a bedtime story and she would do her little giggles and laughs throughout the story and eventually fall asleep 1
