Guest Bunnyblossom Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 separate off a section to have as a smolspace corner? thas what i did in our living room after we nerded it up for my daddy. though i've moved alla that out now that i have my own room. you could put a tent or canopy and a beanbag, or use a bookcase to section it off. i'd go with punk rock nerd lair if you can only choose one though. 's a lot less difficult to explain to people who happen to come over lol
Guest Posted January 3, 2019 Report Posted January 3, 2019 Are your little self and adult self very different from each other? If so maybe there is something both sides of you like. Go for the punk rock and add touches of little stuff through out. I'm kind of interested in seeing what this punk rock nerd style is, do you have pics of examples?

I'm a huge nerd, and the more comic book paraphernalia that is lying around, the more likely I am to go into little space. As far as punk rock nerd style goes, I just imagine it being lots of black and dark colors and rock n roll posters with touchy of nerd stuff thrown in. Like I plan on getting a poster of Lisbeth Salander (the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) for my living room, but I also use my copy of the Marvel encyclopedia as a coffee table book.
Firematrix Posted January 3, 2019 Report Posted January 3, 2019 Because I make comic book and geeky home decor, I'll drop a suggestion. It's very possible to merge the 2 into one with minimal questioning from guests. It could be subtle things like a book shelf with graphic novels, but with coloring books also mixed in. switching out light switch and electrical plate covers with those of characters you love. It just depends on what you want as the primary tone and what you want to cater to your little self.
