Can’t find ddlg on Tumblr

Hey I’m wondering if anyone else has this problem, whenever I search “ddlg” on tumblr nothing comes up anyone else get this or just me??

Tumblr is having problems right now, there was an audit and they found nudity on the site so it’s having a lot of problems right now, it’s blocking a lot of stuff and you can’t download the app, they’re trying to fix the problems ASAP though

I hope they fix it soon D: I know DDlg is hit and miss with being crucified on tumblr, but I hope it gets resolved

Sometimes you have to turn off safe mode to search tumblr, when it is working, to see DD/lg results because I think they consider it NSFW content with it being associated with BDSM.

So let me clear up the confusion.

 

Tumblr is currently engaged in a purge of NSFW content, but only some of what's getting purged is intentional.  They discovered that highly illegal content involving minors was being produced specifically for Tumblr and hidden under a variety of hashtags.  Because of this, Tumblr mobile was de-listed from Apple's app market.  Staff wrote up a bot designed to trawl through the site's archive and flag any illegal NSFW content but the bot's basically gone rogue and it's flagging a ton of stuff and leading to non-offending accounts being terminated.  They are allowing people to appeal terminations, but it's a pain in the ass to do so.

 

In the meantime, the reason you can't search for DDlg is because staff has black-listed all NSFW tags and content from the search.  Effectively they've turned SafeSearch back on for the entire site without any way of you turning it off.  Originally, people were reporting that the search blocks were only affecting the mobile app but now it's hitting the desktop site as well.  A few scattered reports of people not getting hit by the search ban have surfaced, but I don't know how accurate they are.

You can still search for dd/lg, caregiver space, and little space, I think. That’s how I’ve been working around the issue!

Pinterest is cracking down on ddlg too. If you search DDlg it claims it's adult content. If you search DD/lg you get results.

DD/lg is generally adult content as it's technically a subcategory of BDSM. Yes, there are platonic or non-sexual Littles and Caregivers. But it's still considered part of the BDSM community which categorically makes it NSFW/adult content. Hence minors are not welcome in the community, because it's for adults only.

It's visible but I would not expect that to remain and don't be surprised if your blog ends up being made only readable by you by Dec 17th. To them a term like DDlg or Cgl just 'is' bdsm regardless of what if anything you do which is "adult content". They're going mainly by A.I using computers rather people who' see straight off your if blog was 'adult content' or not. Sad I know.

That makes sense completely. I was just saying though that pinterest is coming down on it too. It's not just tumblr.

I reckon ddlg will be banned off tumblr forever with the Dec 17 policy coming up - even non kink tags were being removed like cglre

They're renaming the community. Try searching under the tag kidzspace.
