Misund3rstood Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 My little and I are both fairly new to the DDlg dynamic. So naturally there a lot of things that we aren't educated on and scenarios and situations that we haven't encountered before. Last night my babygirl went deeper into little space than she ever has before. I didn't think anything of it other than the fact that it was amazing and enjoyed every second of it (I assumed that she enjoyed it as much as I did, and figured she was probably even happy about how comfortable she was and how deep into little space she was able to go). This happened around 3am and I was extremely tired needing to get some sleep as I had to be to work at 8. Today she kept telling me that she felt funny. She was in a funk most of the day, and we couldn't pin point what was wrong. Eventually she came out of it and explained to me that she had gotten stuck in little space last night. This has left my little feeling hesitant to delve that deeply into little space again, and it breaks my heart that she's feeling this way. If anyone has ever experienced this before and has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Guest Tinker Fae Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Hello....My Big and I are also new to the dynamic and I've noticed recently that I sometimes catch myself a bit stuck in little space myself. I think its okay to spend some good time in little space as long as both of you are comfortable, but when there is real world interference (needing to go to work at 8) it can become inconvenient. What helps me differentiate is reminding myself in the back of my head when its time to be serious. Its been a little hard to bounce back and forth but I think that sometime I'll get the hang of it. So I hope that in your case, as well as my own - its just something that may take some practice.
Trixie Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 is it okay perhaps to have a timer set...say an alarm on your phone reminds you "time to go tho bed- end little space" . hope that helps.

That's actually a wonderful idea! (Wondering why I didn't think of it haha) Thank you Trixie, I'll have to give that a shot.
