I've been really wanting a journal to call my own little journal but am having such a difficult time debating on whether it should be an actual journal or one of those small binders so I can add whatever color of pretty pages I want along with cute zippers. I keep leaning towards the tiny binders but I have seen some adorable journal and I know I could easily make it my own even without the ability of adding pages and such!! Send help! Little Journal Tip

I have my own little journal, and what I did was buy a sketchbook that is bound like a normal book (not with the spiral binding), and I add extra pages to it by taping them in!! I find this useful becuase it could help my journal last longer, like a few years, and I can add any type of coloful pages I want. I just use normal scotch tape to tape the extra pages in.
Another tip, is that I like to print off cute lined pages from offline and cut them out to tape into my journal as well. You can find plenty of free printable lined page sites, or you ca copy and paste them onto google docs and print them out like that!!

These all look great! I keep having a hard time coming up with themes and prompts. I'm not a fan of pink or pastels, so I have the plan to decorate with cool nature, space, and spoopy themes.

I used to use a couple of those fluffy journals that look like animals as my little journals during my last relationship/marriage to ex who was my former CG. They were cute looking and maybe they were just cheaply made (got em from Five Below), but the pages were bound together by glue or something, so the pages kept falling out and it was super annoying. I would basically write letters to him in there or normal journal entries while I was in little space, just sharing my thoughts and feelings or dreams and fantasies I had. Then he would read them when he got the chance to. With my current Daddy, he's basically my journal since we text a lot. I don't get to see him in person too much at the moment, so having a physical journal wouldn't really make sense, though I did fill a bunch of prompt journals out when we were just friends and gifted them to him. He said it was the best gift he had ever received.

 

I'm not super crafty or into things like scrapbooking, but I'm impressed by anyone who is good at stuff like that. Bullet journaling looks cool, but too tedious for my taste. At the moment, I kind of have a small collection of adult journals I thought were pretty that I write in from time to time. The majority of them are dream records, notes, movies to watch lists or other lists, poetry and tarot/oracle readings etc.

I think I'm going to start a journal. I need to get some fun stickers and scrapbook papers and stuff like that to make it fun. I always liked the look of junk journals but I would have places to write and draw.

Hello! So i love this thread! Im new here and a switch, i take care of a little thts a long distance thing and i was pondering something as rewards. I thought about sending a sticker book and stickers but thn wondered if there are any digital sticker books. There arnt any i like BUT on the goodnotes app u can create a shared notebook tht has “stickers”, so now i send little images to my little as “stickers” and they can load them and i can see how they create their sticker book ☺️ Just a idea if anyone is looking for something digital. I can also leave little notes for them as well

I have one I'd love to share its a little of everything but until I can get the photo's overall size down I can't share it. I took the photo with my phone. Also I have what I call a sticker journal but its actually I book I can store my stickers (peal and stick and peal back off) for later use. I will share that as well but theres a bunch of full pages and I am not sure everyone wants to see like 50ish sheets worth. Also not all of them are cutesy some are of anime I like.

I have so many journals, sketchbooks, collage/glue books and art journals. But I mostly enjoy making small zine books for mixed media art, where I fold a large paper to make an alone standing little artbook, the small format prevents me from getting overwhelmed.    I don't really journal in writing that much, but I often find myself making an artpage that reflects my mood, with maybe a comment or quote, or just some figures to make myself feel better. Since joining I feel a desire to add more litte elements to my artpages.

I've considered buying one. Are they blank inside or do they have fun pages? the pics on amazon only show the front and back cover it seems like.
