Cara Innes Posted August 29, 2019 Report Posted August 29, 2019 Some kinds of scented candles give me headaches, but the ones that don't, I love! I have one that smells like white tea and ginger that's really light and clean smelling. Sometimes I'll go on Etsy, and there are little webshops where folks will sell essential oil diffusers and you can mix scents, like fresh cut grass and honeysuckle, or egyptian musk and rosewood, or berries and spices, or coconut lime.Otherwise, just having the window open after a cool rain, baking bread, or making coffee can make a place smell wonderful.
jelloprincess Posted September 10, 2019 Report Posted September 10, 2019 Try putting a couple drops of an essential oil (lavender is my fav) on a lightbulb while it's OFF -- wait for it to dry, then turn on the light and it'll smell nice. I got an electric wax warmer for Christmas last year and I love it! You put in little scented wax cubes on top and turn on a lightbulb underneath, which melts the wax and makes good smells. All the good smells of scented candles without the fire hazard. Here's one that's similar to mine (SFW), but there are lots of different kinds. You can get the wax in all kinds of scents, and you can also use the leftover wax once the wick is burnt out of a candle.
Gracie67 Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 hmmmmmm i never use anything because i live near the beach and i always small the ocean
Guest LittleBunBun84 Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 I'm a big fan of incense. My favourite is vanilla but my daddy makes incense sticks so we have lots of different scents burning. I like the cleansing effect of incense as well as the smell. Essential oils are great, too. And wax melts!
