I wasn't really sure which section to put this in- so I thought this would be the safest bet. Lately I've been having a really hard time with things at home etc.. And being a little all I want to do at the end of the day is sit and colour!

The reality is I don't get much time for it all at the moment because I have to look after everyone else first. I can't find a balance.

I get extremely lonely during these sorts of times because I'm so busy looking after and caring for other people, there's no one left to look after me any more.

Any suggestions on how to cope with it? :(

I have had that same issue so you're not alone there love. What I personally do is at some point in the day, even if it's just 30 minutes, do something for you. For me I love reading so I lay in bed curl up in my blankie and read for 30 minutes before bed, for you try coloring. You might not get the picture done, but it gives you something to look forward to each night. It has done wonders for me. Even on the most stress filled days, I know at the end my book is waiting for me, where I can go on an adventure. I hope things get better though sweetie, and if you need to talk I'm around. :)

Forgive the nicknames, I was in the south for a long while and picked up their terms in endearment for everyone.

Small steps can help if you're pressured for small time or perhaps in a place that's not easy to express your little side.

I have a play list on my iPod of little songs and even some audio books for things like dr suess and it's really good to listen to before bed, puts me into little space it doesn't take much time at all and it's nice and private. Maybe you could try that.

Sometimes you have to set aside the time, but even five minutes here and there can be pretty good.

I always take a bath or, as penny said, music. I like the audio book idea and may try that myself.

But setting aside time is very helpful even if it is just 5 minutes. I get very busy during the school year, like to the point I have actually forgotten my own name and it gets all downhill and stuff and I have lost that side of myself that is little. I found that even a small amount of time focused on my stuffies before bed or using coloring to help relax. This is usually before bed and it helps me to relax and be little and I feel better.
