Are there any other nerds out there?

 

I'm a huge retrogamer and I think I might be addicted to Buffy the vampire slayer I love superhero's (iron man for the win) And everything about star wars and star treck.

 

What about you guys? I know I'm not the only geek around

I have played lots of MMORPGs, Regular RPGs and Strategy games.

Like a few others in this topic, I love Firefly! But I also love Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (probably my favourite Universe), Game of Thrones, Star Trek, ancient Rome, Kung Fu movies and on and on xD

I've played MGT, spent days painting Warhammer, I've tried live roleplaying but that never really caught my fancy.

I LOVE Star Trek! I grew up in a Trekkie house, too, my dad loved TNG growing up and introduced me to it a while ago. I also watch a lot of fantasy BBC shows, like Robin Hood and Merlin. And I have a friend who introduced me to the world of comics, so I love Marvel, too!

I'm a geek, but not a nerd if that makes sense. I love everything electronic and mechanical, but I'm not really into RPGs, Anime, Sci-Fi (besides Stargate SG-1), or comics. I guess having Asperger's kinda makes me think about things that aren't real as not plausible? I'm weird. I have a Computer Science/Marketing degree, and my dad is a TOTAL nerd. I just like anything with a circuit board, or a motor.

I'm the worst kind of nerd because I'm into a little bit of everything (not really stuff like MLP though, despite being Little!!!!!) I grew up on TNG, Voyager, and SG-1 like a few other here, but I also spent my weekdays after school watching Sailor Moon, DBZ, Tenchi Muyo, etc.

 

 

(Also it totally makes sense being into techie stuff without really nerding out, I've never been about to get into electronics, but I totally always wanted to learn.)

 

These days I don't play as many video games between work and writing and scooting into Little Space, but my Steam is literally loaded with everything from classic CS 1.4 to the bajillion Humble Bundles. I think I mostly geek out on board/card games. Stuff like Lords of Waterdeep, 7 Wonders, Dixit, Killer Bunnies. Just played the new Exploding Kittens, anyone else?

 

Also I like video games, though I don't play that often. Simulators and rpgs.

 

And sometimes I guess I geek out to art too.

I am a total nerd. I play things like CaH and D&D. I am into anime (I have seen a LOT of anime). Digimon is my show always will be. Uh I am a fan of Star Wars they are just really hard to follow when I go into little space. I love to play RPG games too

I don't have the money to reach my full nerd potential quite yet, there's a lot of stuff I can only pine for. But I love retro games, mostly NES, even though it's before my time the games are still great. I'm a speedrunner sometimes, I sorta fell out of it cause it got boring, but yeah, that's the level of nerd I'm at. I speedrun. I do pixel art a lot, it's one of my favorite things. Also Middle Earth is my happy place, but that's like duh of course.

 

I guess my biggest nerd attributes would be Retro games, Lord of the Rings, Elder Scrolls, Megaman (Just in general he's the bomb), and audio. I'm really new to audio, but learning about analog machines, and even just engineering sound is really fun to me.

I'm mostly a computer geek. Hardware, software, the whole 9 yards. I love being the technical support guy for those who need it. I have over 250 games in my Steam library and I'm always looking to expand. 

 

I also love comic books and am definitely looking to expand in that realm, but as of yet I only have two actual comic books and that's it. I want to make my book shelf full of them and geeky items because why the hell not?

I just hit 256 games I my steam library. And that's maybe half my total game library across all consoles and pc

I've been into roleplaying games of the pen and paper variety (D&D etc) since i was 7 still play lots of board games and card games.  I started programming when I was fairly young too on an Atari and of course video games.  I don't play as many video games as I once did but I'm also into all sorts of fandoms which includes anime and Doctor Who.

Giant nerd!! I work at Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle (and Texas!) I even got to hang out with Lando Calrissian (Yes, I know his name is Billy D Williams ) 

 

I play on my PS4, PC, read comic books, and generally get lost in technology. I haven't played as many DnD games, but I always mean to get back into it. Go nerds!
