A new toy i found for me in little space!!!!

So guys!!! I know this isn't like a new toy or anything and I believe they have been around for a really long time but i just discovered a toy I've been obssesing over that would work perfectly in little space for any little who enjoys cute adorable animal figurines!!! They area called calico critters!!! or sylvania family depending on what country you live in. They are just like the cutest thing ever!!! In my opinion it's like playing with a dolls or dollhouses but better!!! They come with a lot of accessories you can buy, play sets you can buy, and different families and stuff you can buy as well!!! They just seem like so much fun and I will someday soon own some and start collecting all the playsets!!!! It is my new goal as a little. I just wanted to share with some littles who might understand my obsession :3

I used to have some of these as a kid. They were pretty common in toy stores here, but I've always known them as sylvanian families. Apparently they're only calico critters in the USA because of some legal thing? I've only just done a really brief search but everywhere else in the world they're sylvanian families lol 

 

I think they're really cute but there's cheaper options out there that are similar. Sylvanian families are very expensive. I've had a wee look around and saw a few people recommending this brand instead https://woodzeez.com/famileez (sfw)

 

You could also try Chinese websites for knockoffs. I had a quick look on Aliexpress and found this Dentist set  and bath set , but I'm sure there's plenty more if you have a proper look. And whatever ones you buy... Aliexpress seems to have a tonne of cute and super cheap accessories. ^^

Yeah, they've been around since the 80's. I had a fair few as a child and I do love the direction they've gone. You might be able to find the old TV show online too

I love those so much!! I didn't know what they were called and I've only started seeing them around since really recent and I really want to collect them but they're expensive in stores IRL which make me sad. They also kind of remind me of that cartoon Max & Ruby   which I also love to death.. Gonna definitely look into cheaper stuff online like it lol

I'm so glad you posted this <3 I saw them in toys r us once, but then they went out of business and I didn't know what they were called to find them online <3 They are so cute :D How do you set yours up? Like in a house or just on a shelf?
