Deaf littles or care givers?

I was just wondering if there are any deaf littles or caregivers on this website? I am hearing but I am near fluent in ASL!

I'd love to learn sign language one day. I know one deaf and many hearing impaired people, and all that I know lip read instead because so few people where I live know sign language. It's not taught in any school that I've heard of, and I've never seen any classes for it. It's a shame, really. :/ So I think it's really great that you're learning. ^^

Daddy has bad hearing and requires hearing aids. We haven't done any sign language, but instead we've kinda come up with our own system of arm taps and squeezes. A certain number or certain location of said squeeze or tap indicate something else. So Daddy normally talks out loud and I reply physically.

I'm not profoundly deaf, but I suffered major hearing loss as a result of childhood trauma. It gets worse as I get older, so I am learning ASL. I'm also very adept at reading lips. Edited by LittleCelticLass

I had to get tubes in my ears 3 separate times that left scar tissue on my eardrums, and have trouble hearing as a result from it

My grandfather taught me sign language as a kid ._. I miss him.

I don’t remember any of it anymore. Unrelated but he also taught me morse code.

I'm a Deaf Daddy/DL. I'm fluent in ASL and can speak some.
