Quirkygrl16 Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 Thought this might be fun. Common misconceptions people have of you? I shall start. People usually think I'm really extroverted but in actually introverted. I like to observe..once I get to know you though I'm more out going. 1
Guest Aetherr Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 people generally tell me i come off as cold and distant, these are the same people that don't care what i have to say 2
PrinzeCharming Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 Ah, I call those people, "flower personalitites." They open up with the right amount of sunshine. Well, I guess where you live, there's plenty of that! People think I am gay. I am just really flirtacious and outgoing with all genders. I had the best bromances at work, and it was adorable. They called me Scanthony (because I was the Pricing and Scanning Coordinator, and my name is Anthony). 4
prince eefy Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 people usually think im shy and quiet but really im outgoing and loud around certain people (if i trust em!) 2
Guest Arc Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 I don't really see how this is a game at all, to be honest. It's more just asking what people assume wrongly about you. ._. However, I guess.... because of my weight people usually don't believe I could be strong or flexible. However I'm a pole dancer and aerialist. I can lift my whole body weight and get into positions some couldn't dream of lol. 1
DustBunny93 Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 When new people talk to me here they think I'm a pet bunny but I'm really just a little baby girl. 2

Maids Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 (edited) Hmm... I'm told that I'm very timid and stand-offish, just generally very quiet - but once you get past that I don't know how to shut up and I will go out of my way to make conversation with that person! These misconceptions vs reality about other people are rather interesting to read... keep going! Eh... sometimes I also feel like some people think I'm rather nosey... but really I just find other people's lives more interesting than my own! People often think that just because I play League of Legends I must be bad and/or play the Support role - when in fact I actually play ADC and Midlane... I also don't suck, I am Gold tier. Little Illy Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 People usually think I am a know-it-all snob (or so I have been told). When in fact I just have over 10years of research and education. People usually think I am a fake little because I hate pink and glitter. Blue is my favorite color and I adore crafting. People usually think I am a Mommy to men. When in fact I have my perfect Daddy and would only ever Mommy a little girl. People usually think I am an idiot. When in fact I see everything. XD 2
Gummy Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 People usually think I am cold and scary bc I'm tall and dress like a punk but I am really super loving and a big teddy bear! People are so surprised when I tell them I sleep with a million stuffed animals! People usually think I'm a dom because I'm outgoing and stand up for myself but I am a very shy and submissive kitty when I am around my Daddy. People usually think I may not care bc sometimes its hard to express myself but I actually love everyone and want to help at all times! 1
DeciDaddy Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 (edited) People usually think I'm an adult man, but. I'm actually three kids stacked on top of each other under a trench coat. Edited September 7, 2018 by DeciDaddy 2

Quirkygrl16 Posted September 7, 2018 Author Report Posted September 7, 2018 People usually think I am very young when they meet me. I am not and hated being young when I was. I revel in it now. I have been asked to put my mom on the phone and why was I at a certain place with out my parent. I get sweetie, honey and other childish condescending verbiage all the time.I just smile thinking I have thong panties older than you 'love'. Due to the sweet young look and my ability to observe before acting, people assume I am passive or not well versed in my field. I use it to my advantage. I am the queen of the surprise attack. I love to sit back and watch an 'opponent' throw out all they have...humbly digest it and then SLAY them. I am very competitive in my career. Yes, an evil, competitive, aggressive, sith queen that will eat your heart and spit it in your face while you are assuming I am the cwutiest widdle pixie fairydust head in the wholle wurrllldddddd. I am picking you apart and plotting your destruction.....you know...for fun. I store that look of shock in a jar at home on my nightstand and take a good sniff when I am in the mood for a whiff of stupidity. I love this
Quirkygrl16 Posted September 7, 2018 Author Report Posted September 7, 2018 I'll post some more.. people usually assume I'm around 16 years old..I'm 28. People always assume that because I live in florida that I go to the beach all the time. I've actually only been once all year. 1
Guest Avi Posted September 7, 2018 Report Posted September 7, 2018 People often seem to think im scared of dogs so they keep them away from me. (Arab stereotype in the Netherlands is that theyre terrified of dogs) ;_;
LittleCelticLass Posted September 7, 2018 Report Posted September 7, 2018 People assume that because I am from Colorado, that I smoke pot and ski/snowboard. I don't do any of that. 1
Guest QueenJellybean Posted September 7, 2018 Report Posted September 7, 2018 here’s a few fun polyamory stereotypes that i’ve gotten over the years! it’s always assumed that because i’m only dating one woman, that i prefer men and i’m just using my sexuality as a way to make myself seem cooler. the truth: i’ve dated primarily female-identifying/gender fluid partners over the course of my life. i only have two male exes, & i’m currently seeing two male partners. they are the minority here, not the ladies. people also assume that because i’ve got multiple relationships, that i have a lot sex & are promiscuous. the truth: i’m only sexually active with one partner at present, and i’ve never had a play partner or one night stand. people think that i never get jealous or attached to my partners. the truth: most of my relationships last several years before ending, and i absolutely still get jealous. 2
Guest stuffiesprincess Posted September 8, 2018 Report Posted September 8, 2018 (edited) People think that I’m cold, distant, bad, rude.... (it’s a long list lol) But in all honesty it’s not that I don’t like to talk I just get really anxious and I’m an introvert Edited September 8, 2018 by stuffiesprincess 1

SmartAssLittle Posted September 23, 2018 Report Posted September 23, 2018 (edited) I'm 5'10 so it can be hard sometimes to find someone taller than me. I do like taller guys but height isn't a deal breaker for me. It's actually pretty far down the list of what's important for me. The right person can make you feel small without being physically small, and that's more important to me. people generally tell me i come off as cold and distant,Thesame here. but ... i'm just not good at giving advices, and i realy don't want to give them, so people think that i am not empathic. Pai Posted September 28, 2018 Report Posted September 28, 2018 - That I'm a minor or at least much younger than I really am. My real age is 25 so that feels somehow strange but I guess that's because I'm so petite. - Several people have told me that before they talked to me, they thought I was really mean and arrogant and that they surprised how kind and empathic I am. - I've heard many times that I look like I have a really good self-esteem but I really don't. - For some reason many people tend to think that I don't like kids or that I don't get along with kids and too many have told me that they wouldn't trust their kid on my hands or that I wouldn't be a good mom. Ofc, I don't know if I would be a good mom or not but I don't know why so many have these thoughts... I like kids and I get along with them really well. T^T
Guest ~*~Sachita~*~ Posted September 28, 2018 Report Posted September 28, 2018 ... I have no idea what people think about me, I've never asked them!
Little Illy Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 ... I have no idea what people think about me, I've never asked them! I think you are caring and genuine. You've always spoken up for something you believe, but you typically do it in a way that is soft and comforting to the person you are talking to, even when they don't believe it themselves. What I think about you? I think I am glad to have met you
