Halloween is coming! What's your favorite thing about it?

Candy, and parties but never get invited to any so I try and stick to the church parties they are sometimes fun

13 Nights of Halloween! Which is now 31 Nights of Halloween! School gets really busy, but it’s nice to have The Addams Fmaily on in the background when doing homework. And just the general spooky atmosphere and sweet treats.

Im excited about Halloween too but the only thing im working on is building a 55g aquarium into a halloween crab set up.

Hope its up and running and to order new critters by the 31st but im gonna give em a cool name like Jason, Kreuger, or Lecter.

Ive wanted to keep this particular species for years and the universe just kind of threw all the ingredients at me over the last few months. Like heres a free tank, a super cheap stand, a oddly marked down piece of jack o lantern shaped terra cotta. So yeah, its happening.

 

As far as costumes i got my handy dandy wolf dress but trying Merida would be fun, i got the hair for it.

Halloween isn't exactly a thing where I'm from, so I don't understand the excitement and hype around it. Students occasionally use it as an excuse to drink, but students use any excuse to drink lol. So I dislike halloween because where I'm from it's just noisy and messy and not fun.

Dressing up! Candy! Cartoons! Spooky snacks! 
Everything gets themed for me this time of year, and I look forwards to it all year.

 

...reminds me I need to finish putting the cobwebs up in the morning before work.

I love haunted houses!  There was a really good one that used to move into a warehouse space near my parent's house when I was young, and every year a big group of us would go at least three or four times before the season was over.

 

I daydream about what it might be like to do themed costumes with Daddy and force him to take me out trick-or-treating!

 

Pumpkin carving was fun, but I was never super good at it.  Baking the pumpkeen seeds afterwards is such a delicious treat, though!

They ended up closing up their doors a few years later, which was sad.   I haven't gone to one since.

I love literally everything about Halloween! Like decorating the whole house super spooky, all the cute costumes, change of leaves, haunted houses, the cider mills... I could go on forever. I can even get away with trick or treating, though I don't like candy it's still fun lol

All the spoopy shows and specials, getting a costume together, apple cider, all the orange and brown, the leaves falling, light jackets, leggings, pumpkin carving, Halloween Oreos, candy corn, candy corn Hershey bars, candy corn M&M's, and other candy corn related products
