Guest Princess Lonewolf Posted August 27, 2018 Report Posted August 27, 2018 Some of you have seen how I react to certain things. I will admit that I have a hard time knowing how to properly react. One major issue I have is with private messaging. I know that in a LDR private messaging is critical, however, every time I receive a private message my stomach starts to turn and knot up, I get light headed, dizzy, and sometimes I even seem to 'blank-out' meaning everything goes dark (can't see) and I can barely hear anything. I know that in a face-to-face conversation I will back away from the person, not because they are doing anything to hurt me but because I have been trained at an extremely young age that all physical contact is negative. How this particular aspect translates to an LDR is that I will literally back away from my laptop in an attempt to assess the situation for potential threats (extreme ptsd). As much as I have tried to manage this issue it continues to be a barrier. My primary question here is.....is this just my multiple anxiety/panic disorder, fear of being cornered or both?
Guest AMS23 Posted August 27, 2018 Report Posted August 27, 2018 I agree on seeing a professional about getting some help with answers on this. I have severe anxiety too from suffering ptsd. I had a very very hard time opening up and messaging back right away and yes even afternoon i opened up. My heart would pound and isn’t get dizzy and have an anxiety attack. For me and my personal experience it was due to me not having read the message yet snd the idea that the message could be hurtful. I’m the same way in video chat. I had such bad anxiety i would tear up. In person I am pretty skittish and on edge thinking something bad will happen. I got help in a few different forms as well as taking the time to learn myself understand why I wasn’t feeling this way. So yes no shame in getting professional help! In the meantime you can message me and talk if you want.
Guest Princess Lonewolf Posted August 29, 2018 Report Posted August 29, 2018 Thank you both but the professionals only say it's mild depression.
Guest AMS23 Posted August 29, 2018 Report Posted August 29, 2018 I was put on an antidepressant after being diagnosed with major depression and also Xanax for anxiety but sometimes it takes a few different times and trials to get to what is going on as a whole and solve the issue completely. I hope you get better soon. In the meantime you can kik me if you want. Cuppycake013
Guest Princess Lonewolf Posted August 29, 2018 Report Posted August 29, 2018 Thistle, I've been put on every medication they could think of and all put me in the hospital with cardiovascular complications due to a pre-existing heart issue, also I don't use kik since it was investigated as part of a murder investigation in 2017.
Guest AMS23 Posted August 29, 2018 Report Posted August 29, 2018 Oh woah that’s insane. I had no idea! I have heart issues too. I worked in cardiology for year so as well. I can’t diagnose you at all! But I’d em happy to share my experiences and stuff. You can just message me here if you’d like
