Guest Arc Posted July 21, 2018 Report Posted July 21, 2018 I struggle with sweet things too. My tummy just doesn't like it. Veggie sticks and hummus is my favourite ^^ Popcorn is great too, so are roasted chickpeas. So are nuts and seeds and dry fruits. And cheese sticks. I also love frozen kiwifruit slices dipped in dark chocolate (I use 70%, but you can use whatever you like). It sounds weird but I love it lol. You could probably do it with any fruit too 1

babybumble Posted July 23, 2018 Report Posted July 23, 2018 Here is my recipe for color donuts what I make today! You are goin need these things: Uncooked biscuits Veggie oil Frosting or if you want to make you own, you need powder sugar and milk Decorations! Like maybe sprinkles or candy First you put one inch of oil in a pot so it can cover about half a biscuit. Then you heat up the oil over like 6 heat Make a hole in you biscuits like a donut Then you put the biscuit in the oil and you be very careful! If you have a mommy or daddy maybe they do it You wait like 3 minutes or somethin till it cook about halfway through and it be a little brown and you flip it over for letting the other side cook up You pull it out and wow you got a donut! They got a bit of oil on them so maybe you put them on paper towels. Now for you frosting! If you want make you own you put powder sugar in a bowl and you add milk a little bit at a time til it be like frosting. Just a little! For me I use store frosting but I add colors and flavors. If you look at my picture I got pink strawberry, purple maple, and regular. Put the frosting on when they are hot if you want it glazey or let them cool if you want it thick like my donuts. Then you decorate them how you like and you eat them! And you can share with you friends! They do not taste like biscuits they taste so yummy like donuts. 1

lilbug Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 PRINCESS'S MACARONS Best made in the shape of hearts with wings!!! INGREDIENTS (for the shell) 3 Egg Whites ¼ cup white sugar (50 g) 2 cups confectioners sugar (200 g) 1 cup almond flour (120 g) pinch of salt Beat egg whites until foamy, then add salt, and white sugar (2 tbsp at a time) for 8-10 mins. Whip until they form a peak that stands upright. You should be able to hold the bowl upside down on your head without it falling off! (Optional) Add the food coloring. Pink or purple is my favorite! Note : Color does fade as it cooks, so do a shade or two darker than you want them to be. Sift almond flour, and powdered sugar. You can snack on the leftover clumps if you want! The dry mixture should be a really fine powder mixture to create a smooth and pretty on top to your cookie. Fold flour/sugar mixture into the egg white mixture. Note : Be patient and mix in a folding motion. It should resemble lava or really thick cake batter. You should be able to barely make a figure 8 before it sinks in the batter. Put the mixture into a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off. Pipe it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (not wax!) Note : it looks prettier when you make a template and put it underneath the parchment and follow the shape Hit the baking sheet on the counters a few time to pop all the air bubbles Preheat the over at 300F/148C Let it sit for 20 - 40 minutes. As long as the top is dry to the touch, you're good to go! Bake for 6-8 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes and then removed and let cool on a rack Filling ideas : Strawberry jam! Strawberry butter cream! NUTELLA!! Chocolate buttercream! Raspberry cream!! Caramel! Additional instructions for the wings! draw the template ahead of time Put template on a baking sheet and put parchment paper on top. Melt white chocolate (like half a cup with a tsp of coconut oil) in the microwave in 30 sec intervals Put chocolate in a piping bag or ziplock and cut small opening Follow the template and use tooth pick to fix as needed Let cool AND TADA!!!!! ENJOY~

Guest LittleNess Posted November 28, 2018 Report Posted November 28, 2018 Gingerbread Ingredients 350g/12oz plain flour, plus extra for rolling out 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 2 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp ground cinnamon 125g/4½oz butter 175g/6oz light soft brown sugar 1 free-range egg 4 tbsp golden syrup Method Sift together the flour, bicarbonate of soda, ginger and cinnamon and pour into the bowl of a food processor. Add the butter and blend until the mix looks like breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar. Lightly beat the egg and golden syrup together, add to the food processor and pulse until the mixture clumps together. Tip the dough out, knead briefly until smooth, wrap in cling film and leave to chill in the fridge for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper. Roll the dough out to a 0.5cm/¼in thickness on a lightly floured surface. Using cutters, cut out the gingerbread men shapes and place on the baking tray, leaving a gap between them. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until lightly golden-brown. Leave on the tray for 10 minutes and then move to a wire rack to finish cooling. When cooled decorate with the writing icing and cake decorations, if using.
Guest LittleNess Posted November 28, 2018 Report Posted November 28, 2018 Chocolate Chip Muffins! Ingredients 250g self-raising flour 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 150g chocolate chips, milk, white, dark or a mix of all three 100g golden caster sugar 2 eggs, lightly beaten 150ml natural yogurt 100g unsalted butter, melted Method Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6 and line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper cases. Sift the flour and bicarbonate of soda into a large bowl, then stir in the chocolate chips and sugar. Add the beaten eggs, yogurt and butter, and stir to combine. It doesn’t matter if the mixture looks a bit lumpy, it’s more important not to overmix or the muffins will turn out tough. Fill the paper cases and bake for 20-25 mins until risen and golden brown. Transfer to a rack to cool – or eat slightly warm. Will keep for three days in an airtight container. They're easy peasy lemon squeezy!
