Is there such thing as a less serious Daddy?

Helloooo,

I don't know if I'm super weird among the community of littles, but I can't commit.  Well it's not that I can't, it's that I don't want to right now. But, I'm still a little, so I crave that attention and dynamic of a daddy. Is this something that other people feel too?

I just wish I could find somebody noncommittal, like a friends w/ benefits but the benefits are ddlg haha

Maybe I'm just an anomaly.

There's other littles like you and there's more than enough Daddies around that match you.

I would say you surely are not alone. I would say there are many littles who feel pretty similar to you and there are Daddies who would fit your needs.

So basically what I said but more words.

No, I don't think you're weird.

The answer to the question "am I the only one who..." is almost always "no".

You define the type of person and relationship that means daddy to you.  Whether it matches anyone else’s definition doesn't really matter, although of course you would want to find a daddy whose expectations are somewhat similar.

howdy!

this is a real dynamic with a real name in the community, so you are not only not alone, but it's a common enough occurrence that there's even a name for it!

some people call it a babysitter, which i've definitely had experience with before -- a Caregiver-type that is available for isolated incidents to take care of a Little in the confines of a specific scene or setting. other folks have called it a sibling role -- which can be either a Caregiver-type or an Older Sibling Little that takes care of another, smaller Little with less rules, structure, or commitment than a traditional relationship.

but the part that i wanted to pin-point on was when you mentioned was the friends with benefits, but the benefits are CGL.

there is an entire community of platonic Caregivers out there that you should definitely explore! i'd suggest being upfront about wanting something more casual, but other than that, i don't see you having any issues at all finding what you're looking for!

good luck!

Lots of people only want casual. The dynamic or kind of person you are makes no difference to that.

I have a part time Daddy. Hehe. He is always very busy and doesn't have time for me full time. We speak daily, but don't see each other often. He is more like a play partner.....but Daddy! I have another , more Dom-ly (not Daddy), play partner. Daddy is okay with that and vice versa. So, it IS POSSIBLE. Granted, I had a difficult time when i was very very very new to DD/lg, because I had a hard time handling the emotions.
