What are the differences between a Babysitter and a Caregiver?

To me, a caregiver is someone providing permanent or daily care. There is a sense of commitment.

 

A babysitter is someone who provides care when needed, and is more like no strings attached.

 

In vanilla terms, a caregiver is like a parent, while a babysitter is like an aunt or uncle, or perhaps someone who looks after u once in awhile. How I see it anyway.
