Guest ittybittylove Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 I recently got into making my own soap and shampoo bars, so I was wondering if there are any other little (or middle or big) soap makers out there. Do you have any tips for newbies? Where is the best place for supplies? Have any weird soap experiences? Please share it all~
Guest Sae Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 I really want to get into making soaps too. But I don't really know how to start and I think some of the supplies might be pricey. I however do like making my own face scrubs and stuff because they tend to be cheaper and for me they work a lot more then what I could ever buy at a shop.

There is a YouTuber called soap making 101 and she has alot of really good informational videos. She even has one on the different supplies you can get at a dollar store. That's basically how I started. Some things (like a stick blender or a kitchen scale can be found at the goodwill). I was trying to make face scrub the other day but I couldn't decide on what to make it out of.

And I'm going to look that up.
