TeddybearCandyfloss Posted June 27, 2018 Report Posted June 27, 2018 So, I think makeup is really fun and can make people look really cute. I especially like the look of blush on the nose and across the face to give a very pretty flushed look, as well as things like fake freckles. However, I have a medium skintone that is very yellow looking so I struggle to find products that work for me. I'm also struggling to reconcile wearing makeup while being little. Sometimes it doesn't feel right, like it makes me feel big, but other times if I do it a certain way it makes me feel younger and cuter. Do any other littles relate?
Guest QueenJellybean Posted June 27, 2018 Report Posted June 27, 2018 i understand this feeling, specifically with lipstick! i have a lot of bright, funky shades -- some of which i only wear when i'm feeling small. but once i'm in that space, it's hard to want to put on lipstick. it's almost like my little side would prefer to not wear it at all! something that helps is those make up kits specifically made for children learning to put on makeup. it helps me feel small still & also helps me feel like i'm "putting on makeup". especially colored lip balms & chapsticks. lipsmackers still exists!
Guest ~*~Sachita~*~ Posted June 28, 2018 Report Posted June 28, 2018 Crayola just launched a line of makeup: http://m.asos.com/us/women/face-body/a-to-z-of-brands/crayola/cat/?cid=28144 You can do your makeup with crayons!!! I'm a middle, so my perspective might be off, but what about using the really cute stuff? Like the My Little Pony collection? Tarte and Too Faced package their products for the younger crowd. Some people are saying the new eyeshadow palette from Tarte looks like something you could buy at Claire's. Too Faced makes eyeshadow that smells like chocolate and it looks like a Hershey's bar! They also make grown up lip gloss that smells and tastes like candy. If it still feels too big, try looking through the options in the toy aisle. On the application side, maybe try using your fingers instead of brushes? Or use the rainbow colored brushes that are everywhere right now. Oh and music! Listening to the right playlist while putting on your makeup can make a huge difference. It is really hard to feel big when putting on lipstick and singing, "Let's get down to business, to defeat the Huns..." As for not feeling little while wearing it, hairstyle makes a bigger difference to me in an overall look. The forum has a bunch of little hairstyle threads you can search for. If hair isn't an option, maybe make a small mistake that you can see but isn't noticable to others, like a crooked lip line or an oopsies dash of mascara on your lid. When you see it throughout the day you can think, "Uh ohs, I'm too little to be playing with makeup." 1
Guest Arc Posted June 28, 2018 Report Posted June 28, 2018 I love the Too Faced palettes. I have the sweet peach one and it's so cute and smells amazing ^^ Most products by Too Faced have super cute packaging. I had a quick search for other brands with it too and came across this https://www.buzzfeed.com/hooooof8/16-examples-of-makeup-packaging-that-are-almost-to-guxp?utm_term=.ox58aKlwEV#.qfqZlLjzer I'm a middle and I don't have a little space. But when I put open up all the cute packages I get really excited and happy. And when I look at those pretty brushes iridescent mermaid makeup brushes I just wanna squeal >< So maybe the cute products will help it feel less big ^^
FairyFloss Posted June 30, 2018 Report Posted June 30, 2018 A lot of Korean brand come in super cute packaging. I just got a lip tint in the mail the other day. The tube came in a little box that looked like a shopping bag. And the makeup shade was called cherry juice, and guess what? It smelled like cherries and came in a little juice bottle!

Guest Bunnyblossom Posted September 26, 2018 Report Posted September 26, 2018 It’s all good and well to be making cute packaging, I wish they had colours inside that matched though. I totes don’t understand the appeal. ☺️ Cuz for me, if I don’t like the colours- I’m not gonna use them. Ipso facto, no point in even having it. Clutter is the devil’s cheesecake. People putting blush on their snoot is a thing? D: What’s the thought behind it? Lol I rly like the ‘fake freckle’ look ^^ Freckles are cutes.
Cell Posted September 26, 2018 Report Posted September 26, 2018 Omg... these are perfect gift ideas! But in regards to putting on makeup in little space, maybe if your daddy put it on it might feel more like he is playing dress up with his doll @throatghosts, does snoot mean nose in this context? Could you point me towards the vid you are referring to so I do t have to watch a dozen links about makeup >_<
