Hiding From My Family and Friends

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately my family is very conservative, and talking about ddlg or anything related is extremely taboo. I still live with them. Lately I've been having trouble going in little space. I feel horrible having to hide who I am. Any advice?

Hi there Princess_Reg, I get what your saying, I too still live with my parents over the summer so it's hard to find time to be little if you're afraid to be found out. What I've found out, in my limited experience is to incorporate small aspects of ddlg into your day to day life. Things that could pass off as normal adult stuff but for you could mean so much more. For instance, instead of getting extremely childish coloring books you could get more mature ones that adults use to release anxiety. You could still use crayons too by saying that they look better on the better. (cause they do) Slightly older kid crafts are perfectly normal for a young adult to have along with fidget toys and various littler kid videogames and movies could be said to be play for "nostalgia purposes" Disney is fun at any age etcetera.

Hope this helps.

Nobody knows I'm a Little - they just think I'm eccentric. I drink out of an adult-sized Little Mermaid tumbler. I wear my hear half-up with a small bow. I am almost always in a dress. My daily handbag is a bright pink Betsey Johnson with a giant bow on it. I have a growing collection of unicorn/hello kitty/Disney princess pajamas. Occasionally, I come across panties with "Littlish" prints. Almost everything I own is pink and/or sparkly. I've always been this way, so no one thinks anything of it. My mom gets me Hello Kitty pajamas every Christmas, and she is the most conservative person I've ever met. Unless your family is really aware of the DDLG community, they're not automatically going to think you're a Little as long as you use some judgement.

We can't (and shouldn't) go around sharing this with everyone. None of my family or vanilla friends know anything about my lg side, and they never will. And that's absolutely fine with me.
