S.O doesn't understand

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone could help me ...

I've been on and off with my current partner 4 years now I've been into ddlg the entire time but only just got the confidence to tell him.

He likes my little side, loves it when I call him daddy (especially during... playtime) and has never really been bothered that I'm "childish" and has always looked after me... but he really doesn't understand I NEED to be little and sometimes I don't have full controle over my regression, he thinks its just a kink and no matter how hard I try explain it he doesn't get it and I just get frustrated and give up can anyone please help me explain the lifestyle to him xxxx
