tayiie Posted June 14, 2018 Report Posted June 14, 2018 okay, I tried searching the forum, but was not quite sure what to search for! So what I would like to know is, how do I get rhinestones and other cute stuff to stay on my pacifiers? I wish to bling/modify/customize my pacis so they look more cute and fun, but I have yet to find any tips on how to make sure the stuff last. I mean, they need washing after being used so it has to be water resistant.... Anyhow, anyone having any tips?
Akuchiakuba Posted June 14, 2018 Report Posted June 14, 2018 I haven't completely blinged out my paci, so I'm not sure if this will work in all cases, but I use an adhesive called Goop. Not to be confused with the cleaning agent Goop, the adhesive Goop has been really good about keeping things were we need them to be for really long periods of time. Normally we use them for gluing our custom minifigs to their bases, but I used it to glue a strawberry cabochon to my paci as well. I did that at some point last year, and the strawberry is still on there really well. Maybe it would work with putting on multiple rhinestones and whatnot as well?

Hmm, unsure if we have it in my country. Surely there could be something that's the same. I will keep my eyes open for something similar, otherwise daddy has some packages to send. Lol.
Guest HospitalFlowers Posted June 15, 2018 Report Posted June 15, 2018 I haven't blinged any pacis bc I don't have a paci, but I like e6000 for rhinestones. It's a rlly heavy duty adhesive, but it smells quite strong when you work with it so use in a well ventilated area
Guest Arc Posted June 15, 2018 Report Posted June 15, 2018 I've heard of a lot of people using e6000 for this. I've personally never used e6000 but it sounds like it can hold anything

tayiie Posted June 15, 2018 Author Report Posted June 15, 2018 I saw the e6000, only one shop has it where I live, but it might totally be worth it! Thanks you guys!
Guest BabyGlitterMilk Posted June 15, 2018 Report Posted June 15, 2018 I’ve used e6000 on my binkies as well, and they stand up to a hand wash but I don’t know if it’ll hold up to boiling. Honestly I don’t recommend boiling with any type of glue.
