kittyboo Posted June 11, 2018 Report Posted June 11, 2018 This feels like a bit of a silly question but I've only had one Daddy before and now he is gone which left me feeling sad and lonely but how do I know when I'm ready for a new Daddy? I feel like I've been talking to people who don't really want a proper relationship and I'm not sure if I am leaning towards that just because I want to feel like I have a Daddy sometimes and if that's better for me than a full on relationship or if I should wait. I'm kinda scared of getting close to someone in that way again. So how did you know you were ready for a Daddy, especially after a break up?
Guest Loki Posted June 11, 2018 Report Posted June 11, 2018 Only you can truly know when your ready. From personal experience, I know I’m ready for a new relationship when I want a new relationship versus a replacement relationship Or in another words, you’re ready when you’re not trying to recapture the last relationship. 2

Guest SUeB Posted June 11, 2018 Report Posted June 11, 2018 The answer is different for everyone. Yep, if you're looking for someone to fill any kind of space left by an ex, then no, you're not ready for a relationship. If you're over that ex, and not looking to "carry on where you left off", then you might be ready. But emphasis on might be. There's no definitive time scale. 2
