megann Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 Me and daddy met online and have been together for quite a while now, like 3 or 4 months and after saying goodnight on thursday last week he hasn't spoken to me since and we normally talk every single day, even if its just good morning/good night and I don't know whats happened and it's all a big shock because everything seemed completely normal. I've messaged him about 2 times and I don't want to message him any more because I don't want to seem clingy. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
IntelliGent Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 Speaking from my own perspective, don't feel like its a bad thing to be clingy. I'd want my little princess to feel like she's welcomed and encouraged to be clingy! I realize not everyone feels the same way and not everyone's personalities are the same but I think this is a very special kind of relationship, it's not like casual dating from the bar scene, you know? Maybe he's gotten caught up in something, or lost his phone, something simple like that. But don't be afraid to message him, even if (God forbid) he decided to move on without even saying something. Hopefully that's not the case.
Lisa Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 I think that messaging him two times is enough. MAYBE do one more follow-up. He may be having issues where he can't communicate with you or he may no longer wish to communicate with him. Either way, sending more messages won't really "help". Sorry you have to deal with this! Try to stay positive and occupy yourself with other thoughts.
Cherry41 Posted July 20, 2015 Report Posted July 20, 2015 Hang in there. It could be something as simple as an unexpectedly busy schedule or a lost phone. When I lose touch with my Daddy for a while, I just focus on being a good lil girl until I hear from him again. 1
VanillaLatte Posted July 20, 2015 Report Posted July 20, 2015 Hey I know how you feel, recently my daddy just abruptly stopped contacting me as well. It's been hard for me, but I'm trying to find out why it happened and I know you're probably interested int the same. Let's both hope it was just some freak accident or something.
