diddlydoodlydee Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 So every Sunday I go to church with my mom to help with the kids' church because I just really like the kids! They're all super sweet And today I was the only adult so I just let them play with Legos and color the whole time (and of course I joined them) and it was great! And before he left, one of the kids asked me how old I was and when I told him he looked me dead in the eye and said "I think you're a little girl. You act like one." I'm still kinda shocked. I guess I never realized how much it showed lol So that was interesting! And now I have a newly colored picture of Batman who is my very favorite superhero <3 1
LB Chris Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 Aww that's wonderful cos the thing is we 'carry over' that side of us and apart from being a stress buster for us, it has other uses like helping children through play to learn and socialize.
Liams_little_lizzy Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 my ex bf had a 4 year old, i think she recognized a peer when she came over to stay with use ever week. we would snuggle in and watch frozen and tangled, MLP, barbie all sorts of stuff. she would want me to play with her constantly in the play room and tell her father "No just me and her". For her birthday i made a play chest with dresses i collected over time from goodwill. It was her favorite toy, I would get out my "purple party dress" (a frilly lacy purple affair) and we would listen to disney radio. best times of my relationship with him were spending time with his daughter...still miss that brat!
KymmycubLoveydove Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 For me, the little-ness does carry over into my day to day personality and I love it. It makes me the best baby sitter and I truly enjoy it!! I make better friends with 5 year olds than people my age
