Buying "Little" Items Off Wish App?

Recommended Posts

Hai! *waves*

I was browsing Wish yesterday and I've seen some onesies, paci's, and other little related things and I was wondering if anyone has bought any little related items from the app?

I've used the app once or twice before, but I've bought just small things like twinkle lights and wallets.

Does anyone have a favorite place to buy little related things that won't cost me an arm and a kidney?  :p

In my experience wish products are very cheaply made and fall apart quickly so I've only purchased a few items from them but never any little related items.

I mostly tend to shop on Etsy or Storenvy for my little stuff. Plus I feel like its a good way to support the community by purchasing from "small business owners" within the community.

I never even thought about looking at Etsy!!

And I've never heard of Storenvy but I'll have to check it out.

Thank you!  :D

I've bought most of my pacis on wish, and they are just as good as the one I bought on LittleForBig! I don't know about anything else tho. Maybe look at the reviews, they can help you guess if you the item will be good. :3

They probably were the same ones as littleforbig sells, just in different packaging. I've bought both the fluffy animal socks and the thigh high socks from littleforbig and from eBay and they've been the exact same thing both times. It happens sometimes when things are just made in a factory.

I recommend etsy too, but watch out for people who have bought from places like wish and are selling it on for more than its worth. There are a lot of good sellers so just look around. :)

I've personally bought pacifiers from wish for little things. I've also bought ears, cutsey accessories like my kitten gloves from there, stickers. The stuff quality wise is just fine, and I havent had an issue with wish so far. I look for items with reviews including pictures along with the wish verified thingy. So if you wanna try wish just order one or two things and see what you think. Can always just return and get your money back anyways. Beyond wish I use Amazon, etsy, walmart, target basic places like that. Wish you the best of luck in finding cute little things. :3

I don't know much about Wish, but I know some places like eBay and Aliexpress offer some kind of buyer protection so if it doesn't arrive, arrives broken, or arrives and is nothing like the photo... you can get some or all of your monies back. Buying from these places can be risky because you don't always know if they're genuine or if they're selling what's actually in the photo... so just do your best to be protected by reading reviews and buying from somewhere with protection and you should be fine. :)

Thanks for the feedback everyone!! :) I think I’m going to start small and order a paci and maybe some socks. I’m working on a Squirrel Girl cosplay so I might look for ears or something, too.

Also thanks for the other website suggestions! I’ll keep a look out on customer reviews. :)

I've bought lots of stuff off of wish, and I've only gotten one or two things that were different than I was expecting. The key thing is to look at reviews.  :) I haven't bought any pacis or onesies though. I've thought about it but I haven't found anything that jumped out at me.

I've bought a necklace on Wish and it's still holding up together. As for other places, check out Five Below if there's one in your area and they also have a website. I follow a little on a budget tumblr and they said that Five Below is a really good place to get little stuff without breaking the bank

I have never bought any thing from the wish app, but i have seen some nice products on there. Though I would say to be very carful who you buy certain products from, a friend of mine biught a couple of tee shirts from the app once and they were nothing like the description

I have! Usually wish items are very hit or miss. They’re either really good or really bad. However because they’re so cheap I shop on wish all the time and some of my favorite little things have come from that website

i usually don't recommend wish for clothing because the sizing can be very skewed.

also! i know that they're a little more on the expensive side, but onesiesdownunder makes hands down the best quality onesies in my opinion. the basic colored ones are a little cheaper than the printed ones if you are on a budget, they ship all over, they are safe & efficient, & they are discreet packaging! i highly, highly recommend them! it also might be a fun experience to get yourself a custom-made pacifier once or twice! mistressmagnolia has a shop that often sells discounted ones once she makes a new round that can go for pretty cheap & i know there are many other shops online as well!

I'll definitely take a look at that site for onesies!

As for custom made paci's, I'd like to get one once I figure out if paci's are for me and daddy or not. I ordered 2 from wish, a pink and a nude, just to see how I'd like them. I don't want to spend money on a custom made one and end up never using it. :( My paci's should be here in a few weeks.

ALSO! Anyone who might have been looking into getting the pink princess tent that most DDLG youtubers (or at least the ones I watch, guess I shouldn't generalize it lol) have, I BOUGHT ONE FROM WISH AND I LOVE IT! It came SUPER fast, and it's so adorable and just like it was described. <3 So far wish is doing okay for me!

I bought my first ever paci there. It's been great so far! The quality and the product itself is exactly what you would get if the "fancy" pacis didn't have jewels and stuff.

Do you remember how much the tent was?? And is it big enough?

The tent is a nice size, I don’t remember the exact measurements. I opted to buy the tent that included the rug to fit and star lights. It was about $54 and it says shipping is $12 BUT when I ordered it shipping was not that expensive. So I’m confused. I opted to buy this one because even though it was more expensive, it was cheaper to buy with woth the rug included rather than buy them separately. The rug and tent separate is like $25 a piece but with $12 shipping as well, so I thought this was the better route to take.

I can tell you that I’m 5ft, and I’d say at its peak it probably stands at 4 to 4.5 ft. Probably about 3ft in diameter. Sorry I’m traveling or I’d look for you!

I prefer Etsy too! Ever had any of those "little boxes" which are stocked with little themed items?
