Siniwit Posted May 26, 2018 Report Posted May 26, 2018 (edited) Have you ever been snuggled up with your little and discussing your journey together (how you met, when you started feeling things for each other, what and how you felt, and how long it took to bring yourselves to express those feelings and come together as a couple), and just found yourself so in love and content with each other that with the gentle strokes through the hair and the laying on the chest and all the snuggly finger tip lines up and down the back and things like that, you just start drifting into a state of pure bliss? We've just done that. It's not quite sleeping and it's not quite a "high" feeling, but it's just so.... content and purely happy and at peace. It just struck me as something so wonderful and amazing that it was worth a share. I find these kinds of feelings quite rare, especially in this day and age.We had to both bring ourselves out of that state because we knew it was time to get nummies. I had to force it in order to bring her back around. We hated to leave that state and do the responsible thing according to our routine, but while we were there it was just so perfect... We just felt so perfect. She forgot how to open her eyes and we both struggled to gain balance when we got to our feet!Anyone else get that? Presumably it's not just us?Edit: She's still struggling. And I'm needing to type things a few times before I get it right. Edited May 26, 2018 by Siniwit 2
Maids Posted May 26, 2018 Report Posted May 26, 2018 Hand-eye coordination is not my thing right now! >_< But yes, we do get these "high" states, would like to know if anyone else knows what this could be and/or has experienced these things? I was so 'high' that I forgot how sore my tummy is from lack of nummies, that's how strong that state is... >_< my goodness! 1

Guest SUeB Posted May 26, 2018 Report Posted May 26, 2018 Yep, i am regularly in that kind of state. Just so utterly content together. It's like nothing i have ever experienced before, and i am middle aged, with several relationships in my history. Plus marriage. This is something completely unknown to both of us. Many people can't handle just being with someone quietly, without the need to keep talking or otherwise fill the time. It feels awkward and uncomfortable. But for us, we have no need to fill time. We are totally comfortable in each others company. That feeling of peace, tranquility and "rightness". It's a very beautiful thing. 2
Guest Appacheian Posted May 26, 2018 Report Posted May 26, 2018 I feel that too in those moments the world is shut out. That feeling of bliss. I think at the heart of it is not just because it’s ddlg relationship. It’s the coming together of 2 people who completely opened up to who they really are and the unity between them that is has created. That state of total understanding and togetherness as one. 2
Siniwit Posted May 26, 2018 Author Report Posted May 26, 2018 Yes! Exactly. We get like that all the time, but last night it was just so much more powerful, moving and strong that I felt it was worth acknowledging and it got us wondering if others got like that. It's so lovely to see that we're not the only ones who can find that sheer peace in their partner. It really is like the world just melts away and all the troubles and stresses of life in general just disappear for that time where we're just... Together. It's honestly one of our favourite things and I don't think we've ever felt this before with anyone else. Can't get enough of those moments of just pure love and bliss between Daddy and his little girl. Does anyone else feel these things? How does it come about for you? Do you try to cling on to that sensation or is it fleeting for you? 1
BadBunny13 Posted May 26, 2018 Report Posted May 26, 2018 never felt like that lmao. I need this in my life.
LittleKitten13 Posted May 27, 2018 Report Posted May 27, 2018 Papa and I often fall asleep together like that. It's just relaxing to snuggle up with my papa and just be with him, then wake up and not realize I'd fallen asleep.
