ThePoet Posted May 7, 2018 Report Posted May 7, 2018 Yeah, but the issue I raised wasn't that. I wanted help about a specific issue and because people wanted to conflate the two, I got almost no useful advice. You DID start a public post on a public forum. After that, it's kind of out of your control how people react to it. Sulking about the responses won't help anything. And I agree with the general topic here, but have avoided commenting simply because you come across as grating and self-important, and I don't enjoy you at all. Maybe that's unrelated to your difficulties connecting with people, but also maybe not. If it's useful advice you're after, I could offer some: perhaps a level of humility would help. 2
Child Of Light Posted May 7, 2018 Report Posted May 7, 2018 (edited) Yeah, but the issue I raised wasn't that. I wanted help about a specific issue and because people wanted to conflate the two, I got almost no useful advice. You got some slightly tangent related replies -- but you got a few suggestions and idea's. I.e Changing terminology (as the way you have it worded might attract that type of Little), and to do a further deep rooted vetting process before proceeding with a Little. It's something both Little's And Daddy Dom's should be doing..... If you wanted a rant post and no discussion (i.e just comfort), please put such in the top of the thread and investing lengthily replies wouldn't be needed. Edited May 7, 2018 by Child Of Light 2

However - Maybe realize, OP, if the above is how people see you then maybe that could be the issue. Even if you are not self-important, grating, etc, the fact that you are coming across that way (even purely by accident, anyone can do it, and we all have at one point) to people can suggest that clearer communication is needed. 1

Guest littlegirl707 Posted May 12, 2018 Report Posted May 12, 2018 lots of ?s if they only talk about themselves you will know right away. This world is full of selfishness. and yes being a little has major benifits goodness. Hope your day is good.
Guest Appacheian Posted May 14, 2018 Report Posted May 14, 2018 Advice.. wise people don’t need it and fools don’t take it. Whether you are in a vanilla relationship or any permutation of anything imaginable, use your brain. Casually, serious, whatever it is you want... it’s all out there and may the buyer beware.
Guest BoredDD Posted May 14, 2018 Report Posted May 14, 2018 You all understand that Doms have limits too, right? If a dom can't handle TPE and a Little demands it - that's abuse. If she demands to be taken care off but doesn't repay it when the Dom is ill/sick - that's abuse. If she lies to him about dating other men etc - that's still abuse. Being child-like doesn't mean you're allowed to be childish and irresponsible. This has been analysed and studied to death in vanilla relationships. BDSM isn't an exception "Just because it's your fetish/kink". Abuse is abuse. This is why Aftercare, Frenzy and Drop are so important. It's not even up for discussion, the science is solid on the matter. Only fakes will even try to disagree, because only fakes even think someone else matters less than they do. Subs are meant to have a desire to serve - but a real sub knows it's really the dom who's serving their needs. If she does absolutely nothing to show her appreciation and love, she's not a sub. Period.
